Best Buy Pacific Appliance Warrantec Best Buy sells warranties that are nearly impossible to make claims with Mount Laurel New Jersey

My sister bought a dishwasher in 2013 and an extended warranty that the salesperson highly recommended from Warrantec. Here's how the whole scam works:

Best Buy owns the store.

Pacific Appliance sells the appliances there.

Warrantec sells the warranty.

Am Trust Group owns Warrantec and has reps that respond to calls.

A FIFTH PARTY, that's right, 5th party contacts you about the repair.

The repair options are weeks away with no discussion on the matter. 

Repairman was a no show the first time...waited ALL DAY. No phone call, no show!

The second time, a week later, he shows up looks at the dishwasher and says, "I can't take it out of the opening. There is tile in the way. You need someone to do that for you." Then, he left! The dishwasher was installed by BEST BUY with the tile in place. It is a non issue to take it out. He also said he had a bad back! 

Many phone calls, store visits, emails and more phone calls (hours spent on hold with many calls disconnected) did not come up with a solution.

Lesson learned: Don't buy appliances from Best Buy, period. Don't buy extended warranties. Save your money in an account if repairs are needed. The lost days of work coupled with the warranty payment are much more than this repair will cost.
