I ordered a Garmin Nuvi 780 GPS from www.bigcameradeals.com out of NY. I was contacted by phone days later, asking for the 3 digit number on the back of my credit card, and asked if I wanted to purchase the 2009 and 2010 map updates, which they charged $100.00 more for. It took weeks to get this item, even though they say it will be shipped in 48 hours, and include a free GPS care kit. Well, today I got a ripped box from UPS, that had a white generic Garmin box, NOT a BRAND NEW FACTORY SEALED BOX AND UNIT I WAS PROMISED!!! Inside the box was a used Garmin Nuvi, not even sure it's a 780 model. It had no screen protector or stickers on it like all NEW Nuvi's have on them. And some of the items inside were in plastic ziplock baggies, nothing ever is in a plastic ziplock baggie when it's NEW!!!!! The free GPS care kit was not inside, nor were the 2 maps I paid $100.00 more for. Of course the 2009 map update was already in the GPS, as I found out they come that way. But no 2010 map updat anywhere, so where did my $100.00 go???? I also noticed on the outside of the box, the return address was marked off by a sticker, underneath, it said: Closeout Genius in Brooklynn NY and their address. I noticed there is another alert on here about that place. And, on my credit card it says I paid Closeout Genius, but I never bought anything from them!!! (I disputed the charge). Of course they don't answer their phone either, and the place I thought I purchased it from was closed. I checked out the invoice too, they were only suppose to charge $1.00 for the bundle with the maps, but again, they charged me $100. I do NOT recommend anyone buying from them, but it's up to you I guess.
