I just lost my 15 yr old Sheltie and thought I was buying from a reputable breeder. Boy did I find out differnt. We have had nothing but Vet bills since. It took me a long time to calm her down she was afraid of everything. Was never handled. I get no coperation from the breeder just exscuses, and have found out since that's the normal for her. I have found many others complaining and telling me what a terrible breeder she is. She swells heartache, not puppies

Guess I let my temper get the best of me. I just wish we could come to an agreement of some kind. I will be the first to apoligize if I find out these things are not gentic. But I can't get any communication going.

But what exactly was the issue here? You have said your pet lived until 15. Was that a typo? A shy sheltie doesn't say much to me. Sheltie's are USUALLY shy with others than their family. It is a part of the breed temperment. If they act shy at home, maybe it is not the ideal enviroment for their temperment? What exactly was wrong here, and what agreements did this breeder fail to uphold? More details please.
