We fell prey to the Bluegreen Vacation Club, not once . .but twice! We paid off our "starter kit" and then upgraded to a "better" package where we would get a chance to book early, arrive earlier at our destination, check out alter . .blah, blah, blah . .the more points we purchased the "better" treats we would get . . SO HIGHLY UNTRUE! Every time we call to make a reservation there are no rooms available.
You have to call 30 days ahead, 3 weeks ahead . .and even when you do that NOTHING is ever available!! So, basically you are paying for NOTHING! We tried to sell our points, so they gave us the information for a company they use to sell your timeshare . . and guess what . . you make NO MONEY at all!! Plus, it takes them months and months to even sell it. We were told we would get the amount we paid . .and found out after having a real estate friend look into the company Bluegreen wants you to use . .that we would get less than 50% of the total valuse we had already spent! So . . stay home and invest in your own family . .!! We bought it thinking we would have something to pass down to our kids and go on family vacations for cheap, we are a family of 6 . .and to our dismay . .this is not true!!!
If anyone is out there who have had success in selling their Bluegreen Resort mortgage, please contact me right away so we can get RID of this piece of NOTHING we are paying for!

Dear Fellow owner,
I am a Preferred Gold owner. Not ever willing to sell out. I had plenty of other time-shares before with far more restrictions.
If NOTHING is available...where have you tried to go?
I reserved Aruba TODAY to check-in TODAY for 3 nights. Is this considered NOTHING?
When you reserve a flight...isn't it on a first come...first serve basis?
Do you ever fly? Have you ever been 'bumped' ?
Preferred Gold can request starting 13 months prior to the arrival date.
Preferred Silver 12 months prior.
Charter members 11 months prior.
All up to 48 hrs prior.
I'm sure when you make travel arrangements during peak season anywhere worldwide that you take precautions. And when it's peak all year you book early.
Just if you are a preferred member use the benefits you have or ask for tips before you sell out.
Please don't say that the music is bad or the wrong one while you know you can't dance to it.
You can always learn.
There is always another side of the coin.

I also would like to get rid of Bluegreen Resort mortgage. Please help! Wish I never bought it in the first place.
