first of all the car that i ended up with was not the car that i wanted. i had pre aproved financing from a bank that bosch kia of fontana only knew never had told me when they had told me to come down to pick out any car that i wanted. this was the weekend before father day feb 10th 2006
they had told that that they would pick me up if i had needed a ride that never happend. i had ended up getting down their my self feb 18th, my on line application for my preaproval was for a kia sportage!! check this out!!!
i had ended up with a dodge stratus 2006 because the finace company that i was a proved for don't finace kia's nor hundi's
i still wasn't informed who financed me nor amount that i was aproved for.
there was no price listed on the 06 stratus any where and the sells persons did not tell me either when i had asked. at this point i wanted to with another car dealer where i can get the rebates and dealer discounts on a new auto.
i'm at the murcy of the kia dealer paying full resell value of an 06 dodge stratus that was used and was in an unreported accident. that was purchased for an action after being used as an rental car.
the sell person didn't wnat me to have the extened contract so they can make more on the car to witch i have to pay $2000.00 out of pocket for and have to pay the registratioin fees for new tages out side the contract out of pocket this all should have been encluded in the finance contract.
in addtion to that i was lied to on the financing terms was suposed to be for 60 months and ended up being 72 months.

They have no resale value

Thomas, you got it right. The problem is they have no resale value, so when you deal wih a high interest loan for those with bad credit what usually happens is 2 years later the car is worth nothing, and the owner owes a huge amount of money. If something major goes wrong they let you repo the car, because it is not worth fixing.

But what is wrong with Hundai and Kia.... ?
OK, I probably will never buy either, but still, what is wrong with Hundai? Do they drop in value too fast?

Thomas,
If you have good credit, the banks don't care what kind of car you buy. Finance companys for the credit challanged will not finance Hyundai's or Kia's

The buyer has responsibilities to protect himself.

1. If the car you were shown was not what you wanted, why did you buy it?
2. A 'new' car has the manufacturer's disclosure invoice on its side window. A used car will not.
3. A finance company does not usually care what brand auto you buy as long as your credit is good and the car's market loan value more than covers your loan amount.
4. Extended warrantees are a ripoff.
Maybe next time you will first learn what SHOULD happen, and then understand what YOUR RESPONSIBILITY is for making what SHOULD happen ACTUALLY happen.
And if what IS happening is NOT what SHOULD happen, then LEAVE without buying!
Remember, this is a free country which means you must accept responsibility for yourself. In a dictatorship/facist/communist state, the state will do your thinking for you, so you have less responsibilities and less freedom.
