 I hired Mr.Richmond to represent my friend who was incarcerated for dui and possession. He was professional and handled her case well . The person Who filed the complaint states that she was sleeping with her lawyer in order to avoid paying fees.. she also states that she was upset about him having pictures of another woman. She had no complaints until she got jealous and stopped sleeping with him and wanted to avoid paying monetary compensation. Her complaint is nothing more than an ugly attempt at revenge for hurt feelings Bailey Richmond was great representation.I paid his fees with cash. He has been a respected member of this community for many years. I would recommend him to others and would hire him again.

YES, he is a pervert.  Men who have sex with women by rape are perverts.  Men who try to touch young girls are perverts too.

He is licensed and went to Tulane law school a long time ago he is 60.  every body who lives in this town knows about him so I don't know why he gets away with the stuff he does.

DOES THE COURT EVEN BOTHER TO VERIFY THAT THIS MAN HAS A VALID LAW LICENSE AND HAS MAINTAINED HIS CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES THAT THE AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION REQUIRES HIM TO TAKE?

I agree that he should be prosecuted.  He does horrible things to lots of women and girls.  He always has.  But I can see how Granny would not want to subject her teenage grandaughter to that especially in a small town.  And especially when he is a lawyer.  At least she is trying to warn people about him.  That seems to be more warning than she got.

Briley is well known for this type of behavior.  Had Granny lived in Ocean Springs all of her life she would have known about him because the whole town does.

Believe me, many of us have dealt with distraught teenage daughters.  That's definitely the time you need to take charge.  To think the OP would let a pedophile walk just because the daughter said to is ridiculous to say the least and renders to story suspect.

Did you hire him to be a lawyer or a pervert? Either way, since you didn't have to pay it seems as if you got a great deal.

I really have trouble believing the part about the granddaughter. What grandparent would find somebody groping their grandchild and not call the police because the kid begged them not to? Seriously?

Take that and the bit about the mail order bride along with the rebuttal which mentioned dressing like a schoolgirl and this whole thing seems very over-the-top.
 Hopefully these people have evidence of their claims. Attorneys tend to take these things very seriously.

I have also been a victim of  Briley Richmond.  Don't be so hard on Granny. She does not seem like a hooker, just like she is not too smart.  Sounds to me like she started dating him, not like she was a granny hooker.  I agree that the grand daughter should not have been allow to make that decision but teenagers are very stubborn.

I went to Briley's office to see about getting a divorce several years ago.  He seemed very nice and helpful at first.  My money was tight and I asked about making payments to him during the divorce.  Instead he offered to let me dress up like a little schoolgirl and strip for him to pay my fees.  I am sure he meant for me to have sex with him too.  I RAN out of his office.  I was scared as I could be. 

Later I also heard other stories about him and his arrest for rape.  That poor girl could not make the charges stick because Briley and her had a sexual relationship and he said it was consensual sex and she said he raped her.  Since I have met him, I believe her.  I have heard that he has run prostitutes, but I don't know about that personally.  I heard he also got arrested not long ago with drugs.  This man is a menace and needs to be off of our streets.

So, he is a sexual predator and rapist and you are a hooker.  Your granddaughter is fourteen and you let her decide what is best for her and allow a predator to prey on others? 

Sounds like a match made in heaven.
