Brittany Newmark-Klein (also known as "B.A. Klein" and/or "Rivka Edelman" and/or "Brittany Newmark" and/or "Brittany Newmark-Shapancer" is a malicious anti-LGBT bigot currently potentially creating a hostile classroom and work environment for LGBT students, faculty, staff and their heterosexual allies at The Wittenberg University English Department in Springfield, Ohio.

Brittany Newmark-Klein, moreover, is aligned with the anti-gay hate-group figure Robert Oscar Lopez, who alleges that when a gay or l*****n parent adopts a child, what they are doing is akin to the transatlantic slave trade.

Under her alias of "Rivka Edelman," Brittany Newmark-Klein is associated with, and is being promoted by anti-gay hate groups including The Witherspoon Institute and the so-called "National Organization for Marriage, which sponsors hate rallies where its chosen speakers yell through megaphones that homosexuals are "worthy to death."

On the Witherspoon Institute's "Public Discourse" blog, Brittany Newmark-Klein engaged in vicious defamation and untruths about me and about the gay rights investigator and reporter Jeremy Hooper.

The Daily Kos said the following about "Rivka Edelman" (Brittany Newmark-Klein):

"You owe an apology to all women and feminists for so profoundly embarrassing their noble movement and goals of equality and justice. You owe an apology to Jeremy Hooper and to Scott Rose for your unsubstantiated accusations against them regarding their response to Janna Darnelle. You owe an apology to all LGBT people for your disgusting, despicable, abhorrent lies."

Lying bigot B.N. Klein strikes again

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Saturday, April 04, 2015

B.N. Klein (a/k/a Brittany Newmark-Klein, a/k/a B.A. Newmark) has filed a Supreme Court animus brief together with the professional political gay basher Robert Oscar Lopez.

Her aim in the brief is to demonize all gay parents in the hopes of preventing the Supreme Court from legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide.

Were Ms. Newmark-Klein ever cross-examined under oath about her brief, her hateful lies would be revealed.

She writes, for example, that "Many people mistakenly imagine that there are millions of children in need of adoption. There were roughly 101,000 children available for adoption in 2013."

The point Ms. Newmark-Klein is trying to make is that because so few children are awaiting adoption, there is no need ever to have adoptive gay parents -- (rather than adoptive heterosexual parents) -- adopt.

What Ms. Newmark-Klein does not mention in her brief is that even among the American children awaiting adoption, the average wait for an orphaned American child to be adopted within the United States is three years.

Moreover, many Americans adopt children from abroad, Around the world, there are, as a matter of documented record, about 17,900,000 (seventeen million, nine-hundred thousand) children orphaned by both parents.

As the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute describes those orphans' plights, (with their source being UNICEF): "There are 17,900,000 orphans who have lost both parents and are living in orphanages or on the streets and lack the care and attention required for healthy development. These children are at risk for disease, malnutrition, and death."

Ms. Newmark-Klein apparently would have the Supreme Court justices believe that it would be better for all those orphans to be malnourished and/or die than for them to be adopted by loving gay-headed households.

Gallingly, in her brief, she defames a married gay couple who have adopted a baby, though she has no direct personal knowledge of their parenting.

Among the plaintiffs of the marriage cases before the Supreme Court are two female nurses in Michigan who have adopted a number of hard-to-place special needs children. Nobody alleges that the two mothers are bad parents, they are by all accounts capable and loving parents, yet B.N. Klein is willing to tell lies to the Supreme Court in order to block them and their children from having full legal recognition as a family.

"Brittany Newmark" still demonizing LGBTers

AUTHOR: Scott rose - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, October 22, 2014

“Rivka Edelman” (a/k/a “Brittany Newmark” a/k/a “B.A.Newmark” formerly known as “Brittany Newmark-Shpancer” and currently sometimesknown as “Brittany Newmark-Klein” and/or “B.N. Klein”) has complained that I said this:

We can conclude with reasonable certainty that significant details of her young life were left out of her brief[.]

My complaint stands.

She submitted an anti-gay-rights brief to a court; it was tailored to demonize her apparently deceased l*****n mother to the court and by extension, all gay people. According to Brittany Newmark, because she is unhappy with her upbringing, *no* gay adult should be able to marry another gay adult, whether they have children or not.

Brittany Newmark's (B.N. Klein's) brief portrays her childhood as being one of endless deprivation, including educational deprivation. However, there are public records, available online, of her having attended expensive and exclusive private middle and high-schools. She herself has said in public areas of the internet that as a teen, she was mentored by the writer John Cheever. Yet, in her anti-gay-rights brief, she alleges that her mother only let her out of her room to go to school. How was she mentored by John Cheever if her mother never let her out of her room except to go to school?

On the one hand, it's true that John Cheever's wife taught at one of the exclusive, expensive private schools that Brittany Newmark attended; the Rockland Country Day School. However, John Cheever did not teach at the same school as his wife.

Therefore, Brittany Newmark's allegation to the court, that her mother only let her out of her room to go to school, must be viewed with skepticism.

Moreover, it is certainly true that the anti-gay-rights attorney who counseled Brittany Newmark (as "B.N. Klein") to demonize gays to the courts helped her to decide to leave out of her brief the facts that she had attended Rockland Country Day School and the Woodstock Country School. (Including those facts in the brief would have demonstrated that as a teen, Brittany Newmark had exceptional educational opportunities; she works hard in the brief to convey the idea that because of her (alleged) l*****n mother, she had no opportunities).

Her court document is defamatory of gay people, makes false, negative assertions about "the gay community" and contains what at best are many half-truths, calculated to demonize all gay people.
