I also bought a dog from "Buc's GSP" as listed in the michigandogbreedersdirectory.com as a companion for our small dog when our older dog passed away.  We were told the dog we bought was highly socialized, used a doggie door to go out, and played nicely with smaller puppies.  When we got there she was in a raised cage in the back with 5 or 6 younger puppies.  The "doggie door" was to go inside some sort of pole barn. 

Long story short, we felt so bad for her situation we immediately bought her.  It was 12:30 in the afternoon and he admitted he had not fed any of the puppies yet.  He also admitted he had not worked with any of the puppies in a while because of a bad back.  Our puppy immediately got sick in the car, and I noted many fleas on her.  He stated he never took his dogs to the vet, because a vet will overmedicate and overcharge.

Our puppy had obviously never been inside a house.  She was wild (still is) and plays very rough with our smaller dog.  She does sleep well in the kennel at night, and is loving, I'm sure from all the days of being left in the yard with no human exposure.  Her ears were nicked from the younger puppies and she has the congenital flesh colored spot on her nose that another person reported. 

I was so shocked at the condition of the kennels and yard that I didn't even ask to see the parents of our dog.  I wish I would've.  That "kennel" was down a driveway from the house and couldn't be seen.  So I don't know the condition of that area.  I also feel our dog was just an expensive rescue.
