Budget Car Rental/sales Division ripoff sticker price on auto I purchased was $9999, contract stated price as $12000 Pensacola Florida

I bought a car at budget in 2001. the price on the window was 9999.00, but when they wrote up the contract they entered 12000. when u questioned this they said the finance said they had to add the extra 3000. or they wouldn't finance it. auto one was the finance co.

Later, after i signed the contract i had reason to call the finance co. about another matter and i asked them about the difference in the aamount the budget co. had charged me. they [auto one stated they would have no reason to demand the additional amount and did not request the increase.

Since then the dealer i dealt with here in pensacola has dissappeared and i don't know who to call or talk to about it. it was the first time i had ever bought a car, was recently widowed [my husband had handled all this type of thing before] and i didn't know they were full of b.s. i went ahead and signed the contract because i was doing home health care and had to have a reliable vehicle.
