I submitted a credit application in good faith to Business Financing Solutions, aka BFS, to the owner of the business Antonio Wilde. Mr. Wilde violated the confidentiality of the information contained in the application by contacting my parents, who were listed as references in the application, to make harrassing phone calls to them when I withdrew my application for consideration. I worked in banking for nearly 12 years and this is a complete violation of the privacy of consumer's information.

Further, Mr. Wilde hired a friend to work for him through the Foundation for Independent Tomorrow's OJT program. In six weeks he paid her only once, claiming the non-profit organization temporarily ran out of funds. When I called FIT, they stated that was never the case and that he had been given funds weekly to pay her.

Do not do business with this highly unethical company or individual. He is a scam artist.

Contacting references is standard procedure for most lenders or at least it should be. The application would have contained provisions to contact all references provided for the purpose of confirming your information. I've noted that some consumers often overreact to lenders calling and confirming if a application for credit is still wanted. It is a business afterall and they don`t want to lose out on potential revenue. You mention harassing phone calls  to your parents regarding your application, but you give no details. Could this just be a case of the lenders trying to contact you regarding an open application. You really should provide more details before labelling anyone as unethical. You should consider reposting with more details.
