.. my 19 year old was ripped off by Camelback Kia Phoenix... added fees and services that were discussed caused his first car purchase to become very unsatisfactory. We contact the dealership and was told because he signed the documents it was basically too bad... they added an additional 1900 to the sales prices.. one fee was a 600 charge for tint that was already on the car when we looked at it.. I was told they do that on all cars... they are nothing but a ripoff dealership and after reading reviews it appears it happen way to often and they need to make things right

So you did not teach your son to read anything before he signs anything

POSTED: Monday, June 12, 2017

I would like to know over the 19 years you never taught your son to read anything before he signs anything ? I don't know how old you are but have you ever been ripped off or somebody at a car dealership try to rip you off did you ask your son before he signs anything to call you did you make any attempt to meet him at the dealership before he signed anything ? I don't know how old you are once again but I'm sure that you're old enough to hear other people talk about bad situations that consumers get in when they go out to buy a car What you need to do is you need to contact the lender and ask them for a copy of the credit application that they received from the dealership typically dealerships will lie to the lenders telling the lenders that the customers make more money than they actually do and this is called wire fraud if a dealership Smith's fraudulent information over the wire through dealertrack which you don't even know what that is and sends it to the various lenders and most of the time they send it to as many lenders that they have on file to find out which one will give the lowest interest rate yes that's what I said the lowest interest rate then they charge the customer the highest interest rate possible that way they increase the point spread which I'm sure that you don't know what that is either It's called increasing the back in Gross I'm sure you don't know what that is either Then if you find out that the dealership actually lied to the lender true dealertrack you can go to the Arizona State banking commission and explain to them what the dealership has done submitting a fraudulent loan to A lender for loan approval I personally believe that you caused your son to get into a bad situation because you are uneducated as to what really goes on in the Auto industry if you are a parent and he's 19 years old I'm assuming that you're at least 40 years old Do you know why dealership submit fraudulent loan documents to lenders ? Do you know that dealerships actually submit fraudulent information to the automotive manufacturers so that the customer will never the opportunity to submit a survey to the manufacturer and also it helps prevent customers from getting safety recall notices and I'm sure that you don't know about that either because you don't do any homework before you allow your son to go to a car dealership and take a chance and getting ripped off you are the one that's uneducated and you did not be the parent that you should be protecting your son from scams Your son or your daughter whoever it is could not rely on you to protect them from rip offs blame yourself on this one because you did not protect your child from what could happen to them going to a dealership I'm sure that you're old enough to know how many people have complained to you about what happened to them after buying a car and then I'm sure that you are aware of the internet where you can Google auto dealer scams and help educate your child before they buy their new car and if you really wanted to protect them you would have went to the dealership with them So many people are willing to complain after they find out that they got screwed but they will spend absolutely zero time reading on the internet trying to educate them as to what might happen to them if they're not paying attention and also reading reviews on review sites like Ripoff Report before they go out and play part with their money Do you really know how many complaints sites are on the internet when people write positive or negative reviews ? Do you know how many auto dealer Ripoff Report have been posted that your son or you could have read before he went to the dealership It sucks when people don't want to spend any time doing any homework before they go to a place that might rip them off in the Auto industry I'm not saying the dealership done anything wrong they put fees on the documents to see if your son was gullible enough to agree to it Here's another problem in the Auto industry nobody wants to read the contract they don't want to read anything they're getting ready to sign why is it that so many people refuse to read what they're getting ready to agree to what the hell is going on in this world nobody wants to spend any time reading maybe it's because they don't know how to read Maybe that's why the school system is getting such a bad review and the reputation because kids get out of school and they can't read but yet they want to go to college and then the college system has to teach them how to read because they don't know how they've been handed out good grades that they never f****** earned Then they get released into the public as an idiot and then they complain that they can't get a decent hourly wage Follow this philosophy from now on Empty heads will always have an empty pocket behind them Learn to read what you are getting ready to sign and if you do not like what's printed on the documentation get up and walk out contracts are written up and laid out by attorneys to help businesses make more money and to help businesses be legally protected the contracts are not laid out by attorneys to protect consumers These contracts the consumer sign when going out to buy a car are not printed up and laid out to help the consumer get a better deal they're laid out by attorneys to help increase the profit of businesses and protect businesses from getting sued I'm sure that you didn't read the contract and see that there's an arbitration clause in there that prevents the consumer from taking legal action in most cases against the business that they've done business with they agreed to an arbitration clause and arbitrators 90% of the time always rule in favor of the business not the consumer that was playing part with their money Attorneys hire me on occasion to go in and testify when they sue auto dealerships because I know what I'm talking about as an automotive expert witness And I'm sure that you don't know about CSI diversion Floating The Front End gross to the back Fraudulent loan documents Why dealerships insist on their sales rep filling out the credit application instead of the customer How dealerships prevent consumers from getting safety recall notices and why they do it How dealerships use dealertrack to their advantage I could go on with a huge list but I'm sure that it would do you no good because you would not read it or do any research on it From this point on I'm hoping that you spend some time with your child teaching them how to read contracts before they sign them and remember my philosophy Empty Pockets will always be behind an empty head
