I received a call from Capital Vacations in January informing me of a "prize" that I won. They simply said that they would send it out to my home and if I accepted the package, then they would charge $149 to my account.

So, I agreed thinking that I could just decline and not be charged. Well, before I even got the package my account was debited $149(shown as TAN, I believe)! As soon as I found out, I called the company(@ 888-320-6847) and told then that I wanted my money back ASAP. They told me, "Put 'Return to Sender' on the package and as soon as we recieve it we'll give you a refund". So, I was okay with that and I made it perfectly clear that I was no longer interested in their services.

Afterwards, they sent me the "StayNTouch" phone card. As soon as I received that I called them and said I did not want the card. So, of course, 2 days after I told them I didn't want it they charged my account $49.95 (shown as StayNTouch). Plus, I was charged $21 from my bank because it over withdrew my account. Well, I called them(@ 888-711-6689) and said what I wanted to say and they somewhat consoled me by giving me an address to write to and a cancelation number.

They said that their systems have been "malfunctioning lately". So, I wrote them stating that I demand a refund of $49.95 AND $21. Another 2 weeks went by, they still hadn't received my package and they said it'll be another week before they reply to the letter I sent. Well, the day after I called them, I checked my account and ANOTHER debit went to my account.

This time for $59.95(shown as TAID, phone# shown as 888-824-7675) and it overdrew my account AGAIN. I've been calling them everyday and they all say the same thing, "No, my supervisor is not available.", "No, we have not received anything.", "No, we do not know how long it will be before you get your money back". So, so far they owe me $149, $49.95, and $59.95. Plus 2 bank fees of $21, totaling $300.90. I am 19 years old, I just got back from a month long vacation and have LOTS of bills to pay.

Plus I am planning a wedding with barely enough money for a deposit on the reception site. This really has put me into debt. I closed my bank account, and am "disputing" it. I highly doubt I'll ever get the money back unless my bank refunds me and they themselves try and get the money from these low life losers.
