Capitol One does not cancel your CC account even if you ask them too. After a long frustration with this

"sh**ty" CC company, I called them 4 times to cancel my account and close once for all after paying it off.

Each time, I found out that they have never honored my request. They kept sending me a bill every

month there thereafter.

Solution: When you cancel any financial account, make to get a cancellation code from the rep. This

confirmation code would only be spat out if the cancellation in fact took place. Moreover, they raised the

APR on my wife's card for no apparent reason.

I used to have a capitol one credit cards and I got rid of them they suck. I would never have 1 of their credit cards in my wallet again . I would advise folks if they have a capitol one credit card pay it off and cancell the card their interest rates are high and thier fees are a rip off as well
