Currently pursuing legal action against Carl Newlen on a separate issue which I will not post details of here.

Can't comment on what is true and not true in the other posts but from my personal experience I would never deal with Carl or associates in any undertaking.  He has no scruples, if you choose to deal with him expect to be ripped off.

Buyer beware, you have bee warned.

This includes Carl Newlen, Amanda Newlen, USPN techology, any domain owned by the Newlens, anything that starts with Zatta - e.g Zattabooks, Zattafact etc, carlnewlen.com to name but a few.

Poor JenniJ, first for you to file suit you have to know who you are suing. Second, you are saying lies about MaryAnn Tofil who is not even involved in any of these comments. Third, I will correct one thing, it was Nevada and not Phoenix and it was judges order to show which is sort of like a bench warrant in Florida that I commented about on here. But JenniJ or JessiJ or Carl Newlen make sure you sue the right person so you don't have to pay for MaryAnn's legal fees and also for her counter suit of defamation and libel that you will most definitely be served with once your true identity is given to her by you in your suit. Seriously "l*****n", "suicide queen", on "meds" and multiple other comments are on here while she hasn't said one word about you. The only comment on here that you are claiming that "I" said about you is that you are actually Carl Newlen. For all you know this can be Mary's ex-boyfriend, or some other member of her family or maybe even just a family friend. If you have this information about MaryAnn's husband Pat, post a copy of the report. Police reports are readily available online and are only a couple dollars to get if the department he is being investigated by won't provide an online copy. What department was it anyway? I will call them for you!

The only difference between you and I on here is that I can document everything that was said about Carl Newlen including what he did to Mary because he was using her computer and IPhone which we have all the records from (before he refused to give them back). It goes into great detail in one of his emails about how he "will just make something up" about her family to get back at them which all of Carl's posts here are attempting to do. Carl also goes into detail about how he illegally tried to hack her IPhone to get her personal email and information in an attempt to cause harm and "bricked" it. I'll say it again... "all of these terrible posts you are making shows what type of business he is running". Carl and his entourage caused more harm to his reputation with their posts than Mary or her family or myself can ever have caused with our truths! And again, I kept all my posts on target regarding what Carl has done to others on this site and to Mary and her family and unlike Carl and his entourage, I never made one personal attack about any of his family, friends, coworkers, etc... That is the difference between people like Carl and myself.

I am surprised at your lack of knowledge when related to Libel, defamations, etc. You can certainly be sued for libel against a person or a company. Apparently this is bothering you, since you keep bringing it up after your brother said he/your family were above all is.

And you bring up Chick-fil-a, which must have been tough on you. Your past l*****n issues and suicide attempt, versus your right wing, rush limbaugh loving husband - an interesting combination.

But you are right to be concerned. The law suit is going forward. Remember, the best defense against libel it the truth. The fact that you think I am the person you are bashing is libel. It is a lie. It is insulting that what I am writing is a lie. So apparently anyone calling you a liar cannot be a real person.

You said there were lost court cases in Arizona and California and a warrant for my boss in Florida. All lies on your part. We won the California case. In fact, it was thrown out by the judge. Nothing happened in Arizona, except in your head.

I could go on, but you and your brother, Mike, will have your day in Court. BTW, Gerrold lives in Jacksonville Ohio, and I live in Athens Ohio. You will see us in Court. We are going to testify against you and your brother.

And you can defend your statements. If you can prove them to be true you are good. But we both know what the outcome will be.

I'm sorry but Carl Newlen (AKA JenniG, G-Man 55, Gerrold, Laura) can't keep his multiple personalities and accounts in order. So G-Man from Jacksonville Florida saw all this stuff occur in Athens Ohio, and on prior unrelated posts Laura from Glen Easton Ill who was a customer doing business with Carl but somehow was logged into Carl's account when she posted her rebuttal. Sorry Carl, but you are getting caught up in your own spin.

Again, these posts are about you're BUSINESS dealings and not about YOU personally, other than what YOU have already posted about yourself here! Any comment made on here is a copy or rebuttal that YOU or someone else has already posted along with the outstanding Court VIEW programs that almost every county in the United States uses and provides free online access. There is no case against someone for merely reiterating or reposting prior comments.

The fact that you and your personalities go into personal attacks do exactly what these posts were designed to do which was show everyone looking to do BUSINESS with you, exactly the type of business you run. There is no personal attacks in any of these comments about you and they only detail your business practices. Nobody went into personal attacks about your family, ex-wife or anything of that matter.

Nothing has been posted by me in any other website other than this one because of the fact that it can't be erased or deleted. Just like the recent Chick-fil-A issues, if something is already readily available, posted or documented about an individual or business there is no legal case against someone for linking or discussing those prior items. However on this particular website you are acting in a business fashion particularly when you tag yourself as the business in your posts.

I have spoken with Drew on several occassions, and he is indeed a developer and owns Ocean One Properties. I have even spoken to Carl. Drew's real name is Drew Kalsey. I think if he chose to put Carl's info on this report people should know Drew's real name.

The reason I got involved was because I planned to do business with Carl and USPN, his company.

There was another "complaint" in RipOff report and on the surface it looked like a bad idea to deal with USPN, but after I read everything and contacted a few people who were involved, I was quite confident that the original complaint was false.

Carl faxed the information he had on the situation with Drew, including Drew's email where he cancelled the deal. By cancelling the deal Drew had no claim on anything, and Carl also sent a letter from Drew's attorney where the attorney said Drew would not be accepting the refund.

So what you have here is a Real Estate Developer in Fort Myers, Florida sending a 30% down payment to purchase web sites, and then cancelling the deal. Carl sent a check for the deposit, and was told by Drew's attorney that Drew would not be accepting the deposit back.

Once Carl mailed the refund check back he sold the sites to a company in San Diego.

Maybe Carl should have travelled to Florida to appear in court - but according to him, Drew and his attorney never forwarded court times, as required by law, and Drew falsified (forged Carl's signature) a statement that Carl would agree to Arbitration. Carl never agreed to this, and when he asked for the documentation Drew's attorney said he was no longer handling the case.

So was there anything criminal in this? NO! Drew cancelled and refused a refund. I still work with Carl and USPN, and have never had a problem.

I went on and on about Jen Tofil, and when I retread my masterpiece rebuttals today I realized that I was oh, so wrong.

Her name is MaryAnn Tofil.

You see, I know how much MaryAnn Tofil despises liars, and not having her name correct her is actually like a lie, right?

I have read and re-read the posts above, and frankly I am having trouble understanding them. The don't seem coherent, but that might just be me.

First of all, truthwillsetyoufree is actuall Jen Tofil and her husband, Pat Tofil. Jen is the daughter of Mary Crytzer. I have never met them personally, and all I know about theme is what her mother said. So I will say that Jenni's statements are really spot on. Mary said the same things to several people.

I will not be going into the suicide and drug issues, except to say that I know for a fact that Mary used drugs in her car outside Carl's house at night. Several people saw this.

Anyway, the guy 'timeisup' is Mary's son, Mike. He posted the same thing on other sites, but he included his name.

Whether they are just coming to their mother's defense, which seems the case, they have also clearly committed libel. Slander, libel, and defamation are all very similar, at least in the sense that lies are told in some form in the attempt to harm a person's business, reputation, etc. I don't really understand what Jen Tofil is talking about in her post, but I know for a fact that she and Mike both lied in their posts.

Their problems are just starting, because when I spoke to Carl he said he is going to file suit next week. He has actually done this a few times in the past and won each time, either with a settlement, or by default because the people never showed up for Court.

The good and bad about this site is that Jen, Pat and Mike cannot delete their posts. They are permanent. I will also say that they made these same posts on several other sites, but when the libel issue was brought up they started deleting their posts elsewhere. That should be a good indication about these people.

The best defense against libel is to prove your statements are true. So if what they posted is true, why rush to take everything down?

Carl is not going to respond to these claims, and maybe we shouldn't have either. But in the end, if people are gong to post negatives that are lies, there should be room for others to challenge them. In the end it is up to the readers to make their own choices.

And to put this whole matter back into perspective, Carl kicked Mary out. We watched from next door. And she came back down twice more a month later to get more of her things, which Carl boxed up and put on the front porch.

As for the money Carl was supposed to take from her? She was around for three months. She wasn't working. Her car is actually owned by her old boyfriend, who she dumped to move in with Carl. And the boyfriend was still making payments on it when she was living down here. Weird.

And I watched several times as Carl handed her cash when she would go to the store. I would like to cover every detail of these claims, but if you don't see this for what it is, a relationship gone bad, no amount of words will matter.

Actually, that is not fair to say. I don't really know her, except what her momma said. And I sorta feel bad about bringing up the suicide and l*****n thing. I don't feel bad the whole way because she seems to dish it out pretty good.

Now, first off, I want to point out a few inaccuracies. If you lose a civil suit they don't arrest ye. That is what she is claiming here. Dubious. And she is another one hiding behind a fake name. It is easy to say whatever you want when you think no one will know who you are.

So look girl, you are troubled. I get that. It happens. But suicide is certainly not the solution. So what that you married from the bottom of the barrel. It happens, too. But when you start flinging crap we can tell when you are simply tossing things out because you are in a tail spin. That crash is gonna burn ya.

And talk about being a stalker. Carl lives in a dump? Have you been there? I didn't think so. He lives in a nice house in a nice little village. No driver's license? What? And if true, that mattesr how?

Anyhow, to round this out and get it clear, this whole family is whacked out. Alcoholism rampant, daily drug use, suicide attempts. And then they have the nerve to cry foul because the momma has an ailment.

So it is okay to make fun of Carl's health, but momma's is off limit? Alls fain in war, baby. This is my last post, btw. I said my peace/piece. Truth be told and all that. But they will post more, no doubt. It is in their mentality.

Here's what happens to items that were bought for Carl that were never his and he was supposed to return.  I fit of rage maybe last night from hearing the truth from so many people? I am Mary's son and you may bash my family all you want with lies but I have no clue who posts these complaints originally and that my friend is your real problem. 

My family will continue to move on.  We will replace that iPhone you smashed.  We will buy another Kindle and lap top that you sold on Craigslist.  (When I can prove it you will be in trouble for selling stolen items).  We will help my mother get back on her feet from the thousands of dollars you have taken from her. (we have e-mails and texts to prove you did).  We fortunately will move on from you and your lies but you have to live with yourself forever.

You have to wake up and look in the mirror and wonder what type of person you I become.  God puts us on this planet for a reason and what we do here makes us who we are. I've come to the conclusion that God didn't put you on this planet.  Carl, you fell out when he was sitting down on the toilet taking a dump.

Of course that whole thing about getting money back from the tax return never happened for Mary. Another lie of course from Carl. What Carl obviously is clueless about is Ohio's Slander and Libel laws. Here is a copy to the link for you. Making slanderous, false statements about another person is in fact a violation of that law. Luckily all this information will be provided to children's services when they come knocking on his door next week, along with an audio he sent last evening to Mary that shows he is placing his own children in a harmful situation. Plus in last evening's texts he admitted he was going to make up information about her family and post it on the internet. You notice he is not defending his business actions anymore because he can't and instead is resorting to personal attacks against everyone. Bravo business man. Great showing of the type of person you really are to any potential customer. Again for anyone who wants to do business with Carl Newlen, read up! Search the web, go to your local BBB for the truth about him and his business dealings, call Florida for the truth about his arrest warrant like I did (Carl when a court orders a judgment against you for $500,000 and you don't pay or make any attempt to pay, they put a warrant for your arrest). Oh, Carl, It is nice that your make believe friends (because you don't have any real ones) logged into your computer and put those comments. But the fact is that you did not kick Mary out. She left because she saw who you really were. Also unlike your fake illnesses, she actually does have a debilitating nerve disease that she is under extensive treatment for (lets make fun of a handicapped person). So in that last post you admitted that you were driving illegally to the store (remember you don't have a drivers license per the BMV). Were your kids in the car (hello children's services) too! The fact is, she did complain about money and gas all the time because you had none and were using hers to support yourself. Here is the deal. Mary is scary. I know this from first hand experience. She is a jilted woman, and a liar.

Here is a 30 sec rundown.

She was a manager at Bob Evans up around Toledo. She quit her job to move in with Carl. He told her not to quit her job, but she did anyway. Turns out she was sued by an employee for discrimination. She lost. She was ordered to attend a sensitivity class, but quit instead.

Mary shows up, tries to take over. Carl's boys started calling her scary Mary. I call her a b***h. She was the typical evil step monster. She always complained, always had a head ache, and always hitting me up for weed. I have piercings and a brain. I don't do drugs. Apparently her dealers are her old boyfriend and her son. And they were 200 miles away.

She was the laziest slug I ever met. And she was always demanding something from Carl. He was embarrassed by her. One day Carl was going to head up to the Kroger - 1 mile away - to buy groceries, and she freaked about him wasting gas. He thought she was joking, and when he found out she wasn't he told her to sleep elsewhere and plan to move out.

So she heads back to Bob Evans. See, she always said how much they loved her up there, how she was the best around, so she figured it was easy as "pie" to get her job back. They told her nope, that she couldn't do the job as required. Insert pie metaphor here.

So you know what she did? She went and sued them for sexual harassment. Gold digger? Yep!

Anyway, take it for what it is. I have worked with Carl for over a year. And in this business there are all kinds of people wanting to rip us off. The guy who started this page lost his claim with PayPal, and yet he is still demanding his money?

Let me ask you, if you won a case would you just give the loser your money? Get real people.

I have some things to report here. First of all I am well connected to what the last two postings are about. It is a mother and son tag-team.

Mary Crytzer used to live with Carl, until he told her to leave. I have reported elsewhere how she was a drug user. I live near Carl and several of us noticed she was smoking in the car outside of his house. We assumed she was smoking cigarettes, but we came to find out she was smoking pot. And this was a nightly event.

We didn't say anything about it - though we should have.

But this woman was as mean as they come. She was rude to everyone around. She was mean to his children. They started calling her scary Mary. And she was mean to Carl.

And he kicked her to the curb. That is what this is all about.

There are no warrants for Carl, and he doesn't live in a dump. Her problem is that we all live in a small town and she is too good to live in a small town. She is also a gold digger.

Picture this: she never carries anything, not groceries, not her own suit case, nothing. She is too good for that. And to top it off, she ALWAYS complains about head aches, body aches. Not a fun person to be around. And add lazy to that list.

Anyway, yes, Carl is my friend, and he has friends all around here. He is a church going man and has never lied to me or tried to rip me off. And if he did this to anyone around here I would know.

As for his business, I just know you cannot please everyone. And I know there are people out there that will try to extort and say anything they want to try to get vengeance. I guess that is the way it is going to be. Just because a customer says he was ripped off doesn't mean it's tru, and you always have to take it with a grain of salt.

But as for this Mary Crytzer? Scary Mary is a good name for her. But it is a fact that she is a drug user, rude, and a constant complainer.

Sorry to say but Carl Newlen and his "companies" (a word I use very loosely) are scam artists. Look at large court judgements against him in Florida, California, Arizona, etc, etc, etc... all for the same reasons as this post.

The real Carl Newlen doesn't even have a legitimate company and is living out of a run down house in the Athens Ohio area trying to continue to rip off people. He doesn't have a valid Ohio drivers license (BMV can verify this) or car. If he travels to Florida and runs into a police officer he would be arrested due to his legal judgements there (warrant for your arrest is public record you know!).

The Better Business Bureau in Ohio had every single one of his companies with their lowest possible rating (BBB online can verify this). I had the great pleasure of researching Mr Newlen for another customer and found a lot of public records and also some non-public records concerning details about him, his businesses, social status, court cases, divorce records, arrest records or detainment records, tax history and pretty much everything you need to know about him and his businesses before buying something from him.

Carl, your time is up with ripping people off. I'm sure you may still get some buyers because they might not know your name before they mistakenly send you money for something you don't even have. But in the end you cannot hide from your actions or your record. I think at one time you had your ex-wife telling people you were dead (BBB record) to a customer that you ripped off, you also had health issues and couldn't travel to Florida to defend yourself in court... no wait... in another post you said you couldn't go to Florida because it was more important to raise your kids. Most recently you have pancreatic cancer as an excuse. Can't you just tell the truth for once?

And I don't care if I have grammatical errors in this post!

Just to add to they type of person Carl Newlen is and his overall character.  He and my mom were invovled for several months recently.  "Borrowed" and I use that word loosely, close to $13,000 while she was taking care of his two children.  She was paying all his bills.  A list of lies and broken promises were given constantly.  She finally got out of the relationship when she realized all this money was gone.  He is great at giving lies and explanations and promises.  Stay away from this guy either through Craiglist, Ebay, or through anything else he is selling as it's either stolen or he has nothing to sell in the first place.  He still has over $1000 worth of electronics that are my mothers.  Not bitter but I do not want to see what happened to my mother happen to someone else out there.  I'm just happy she got out without anything else happening.  Please pass this along.

PayPal decided in our favor. What else is there to say? Most people know that PayPal usually decides in the consumer's favor, so for them to side with us says a lot about his claim.

He could also have gone to his Credit Card company and filed a claim, and my guess is that he did - and lost. Once again, what does that say?

Anyone can make a complaint against anyone else, without having to provide proof, or even their real name. In this case, the guy figures he can post his complaint all over the Internet in order that I refund his money. That is extortion in my view. And as a business owner you simply cannot give in to these things.

What can you do? I can just give my version of events and let you decide. But you should take notice that I am the only one not hiding behind a fake name.

I am certainly not the only one this happens to. It is good that consumers have a forum to post legitimate complaints, but there needs to be stricter oversight. Having to use your real identity, your real telephone number and address would be a good start. That info doesn't have to be made public, but if a business is being extorted, or having their name dragged through the mud, they should be able to have the complainant's true identity and proof that they made the post.

Then the playing field is level. If the complaint is legit - fine. But if not, the business is able to file a law suit holding the person liable for their actions. This would certainly eliminate a lot of false claims being posted on sites like these.

Carl Newlen continues his spin,,,,I did not receive deposit back although promised many times, now I see he has ripped off someone else with Zatta Book AKA Zatta media. I have over 70 emails on file promises, hard luck stories, and BS is all you will get if you try to do business with this man. Google the name Carl Newlen and read all about him!

This person is providing misleading information.

First of all, the deposit was not refundable, according to our contractual agreement.

Secondly, this person sent an email saying the DVD we sent was blank, but then stated in the next paragraph that he tried opening the file with WinZIP and the file was corrupted.

And finally, this person kept changing his mind - wanting the manuscript and wanting his deposit refunded. We offered a refund, but he has yet to provide a signed notarized statement stating that he will not use the manuscript. We need this to protect ourselves.
