In December 2001 in signed a contract with Phillips Carlyle to help in pursuing a new career in the Omaha area. During our initial meeting Dan Grauer explained the process and how it worked. Dan talked about that most clients on average assume a new position with 90 days. When asked if Dan knew about possible employers he said he could think of seven or eight companies that are looking for someone with my talents. This explanation helped confirm moving forward with what was then Phillips Carlyle International.

I was excited at the opportunity to explore new avenues that I had not looked into or thought about trying before. Having come from an educational background I was unfamiliar with certain aspects of the business world. I attended the training sessions and filled out the workbook with eager anticipation and as Dan phrased it An Openmind. I identified companies that I would be interested in looking into and talked in depth with Gary about exploring them further. I sent out advice letters and scoured through the internet and newspapers for possible job leads.

It is going on 16 months since that time and I have been on NOT been put in front of any DESCISION MAKERS from Carlyle & Associates. All leads were found on my own through the local newspapers. The advice interviews lead nowhere nor have I even had phone calls returned to me. At one time I opened my search to cities outside of Omaha with no resolve.

After job hoping for the past year I finally landed a decent position through my own search. It was not my dream job but it was a start. In talking with Gary I was informed that he would continue looking and be in touch. Two months had past with no contact from Gary or Carlyle & Associates. I decided to check in and was told that Gary was no longer with the company.

I set an appointment with Dan Grauer and came in after work to revisit my situation and see where we could move forward. We rewrote my resume and did a personality inventory. I had regular meetings with Dan and was given a goal task sheet with the expectation of Dan finding 3-5 possible opportunities a week. He asked in return I send him any leads that I had found. Over the past two months I sent Dan job leads and ideas and have not even gotten close to an interview. Last week I came in for my weekly appointment and now found Dan Grauer has left Carlyle and Associates.

I am at a point where I have lost all faith in the abilities Carlyle & Associates. I have invested a large portion of time, effort, and money and feel this is a waste. I want to discuss a refund of my initial investment of 3975.00. I want to meet with them as soon as possible to come to resolve with this matter.
