This whole fiasco started with me trying to exchange my timeshire in Florida to one in Cabo.  i searched and searched Interval International with whom my timeshare is registered with.

 I thought i was booking Casa Dorado San lucas bay, but instead i got Casa Dorado Hotel Melia, aka ME cabo.  Very confusing and im pretty sure a bait and switch operation!

So we arrive on Saturday, June 8 and are non stop badgered about getting our free VIP passes.  We politley say we are not interested.  The next morning, the same thing.  We are not interested!! Badgering does not stop until "Maria" finally pushes us over the edge from begging and we say yes to a "free" breakfast next door at the reosrt i thought i booked, Casa Dorado, San Lucas Bay.  So on the last day of our vacation we head over to Casa Dorado and are greeted by 3 different people.

We have breakfast with a woman and fill out this stupid questionaire.  We basically tell her about our timeshare that my grandparents gave to us.  She proceeds to tell us that no one wants time shares in Florida anymore and bacically its worthless.  

We continue to be asked rediculous questions, and are told to leave a tip for the waiter and move on to the tour.  
After the tour, we are taken to a suite and start crunching numbers!!  We politely say we just are not interested that we would like to get on with our last day of our vacation.  After a few more minutes, the woman goes to get a "manager" im assuming.  I think his name was Glenn or Gary.  He was the rudest man i have ever come across in my life.  He proceeds to tell me my timeshare in Florida is a "chevy" and this timeshare is more like a "Ferrari".  That  is why we ended up at ME Cabo instead of Casa Dorado.

My husband politely tells him we are just not interested and he blows a gasket.  He storms off and says, follow me so you can get to your "vacation"!!! He said he was going to switch us to this hotel for the night but he wasnt now because we were rude to him!!  I really thought Jon Stossel was going to jump out at any minute and say this is being filmed for 20/20!!  It wasnt unfortunately!  

As we step into the "service" elevator, and he is still yelling at us,  He takes us to this room and says "sit here and you will get your free gift and be on your way to your vacation".  I have never been treated like this before and i will never stay at any hotel affiliated with Casa Dorado or any parent comapnies.  And i will let my many customers know how badly we were treated.  Bad press travels fast.

What a way to end a possibly wonderful vacation!!
