I sent several pieces of gold and silver jewelry which I know I could have gotten hundreds for and they sent me a check for 54.00. I am returning that check overnight and asking for signature on delivery so they cannot give me the same story that it was late. I am so furious that I have to waste my time and money to get MY things back but I have learned a lesson. DONT use them.

Why on earth?

Why on earth would you ever send any jewrely off to an internet site, especially if you actually had it appraised at a pawn shop. You should have gone to an jewerly shop and seen what the actual value was. Sending something thru the mail, where you have no control over anything is just insaine. This site is nothing more than a scam They will more than likely now sell it to someone and you have lost ALL control over the price. THEY have control over the price and it goes over what "THEY" say it is worth. They stay in business cause people send them their pieces and under price them. Always take your pieces to a an expert not some internet site. For every person that gets a good deal there are many that get messed over.

Good luck, but I doubt that you will recieve anything else from them. Just check their webste and go to the fine print section. You will quickly see how they get out of any liablity! Never sign up for something without reading the fine print. It explains everything and baiscally the customer is the one being screwed and they end up with your jewerly and you get four bucks!

Four Dollars?

How did they arrive at $4.00 for 'several' pieces? That's insane. And they haven't melted the stuff yet? Do they state their return policy up front? Their commercials make them seem to be shysters, but $4.00? Take that stuff to a shop that will accept metals for scrap. A good one will weigh it in front of you and give you market value for it. You're lucky if you're willing to let it go just for the metal content. Try getting rid of five wedding rings with diamonds in them. Diamonds are worthless. The only thing anyone will give us for them is on the metal content, the stones with certificates have no future, according to the stores!

We're talking around a thousand paid for the rings twenty some years ago (it would probably be over $2000 to buy comparable rings at retail today), so don't tell me those rings couldn't be moved to a young couple not looking to spend an arm and a leg on their wedding set.
