AKC Statement on Ms. Lin Allen (AKA Hackney) and Bleu Moon Cattle Dogs

On Sunday, September 28th, AKC received a complaint regarding Ms. Lin Allen (AKA Hackney) and the care of dogs being kept in completely unacceptable conditions at her property. An immediate inspection was scheduled. Two days later, the AKC Executive Field Agent found the location vacant with no visible sign of dogs. A second unsuccessful attempt was made the very next day. Ms. Allen was finally reached that evening and an inspection was scheduled at her new address for the following morning.

On October 2nd, the AKC inspector was met by an officer of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office, which had also received a complaint regarding dogs being housed at a vacant location. The kennel was found to be in compliance by both the AKC inspector and the police officer, who also determined not to take action, later stating to AKC that the kennel was clean and no dogs exhibited thinness or physical ailment. At the time, 43 dogs and 14 puppies were present.

On October 10th, local law enforcement revisited the kennel due to zoning violations and at that time, seized the Allens’ dogs and charged them with animal cruelty. Law enforcement determined the kennel had not been cleaned since after the October 2nd inspection. AKC was made aware on October 13th and, pursuant to our policy, the Allens’ privileges were immediately placed on referral and Ms. Allen’s BOM status was revoked.

We are grateful for the fast action of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s office in discovering and addressing this unacceptable and quickly-deteriorating situation, and we appreciate the collaboration of local law enforcement across the country that ensure dogs are happy, healthy and loved.

A couple has been charged with animal cruelty after authorities had to confiscate more than 50 animals from their property on Friday.Lynne Hackney, 57, and Miles Allen, 56, have been arrested on only two counts each of simple animal cruelty after it was found that the more than 50 dogs on their property were living in deplorable conditions.

The Picayune Item reports that the dogs were living in kennels, some three to a cage, and all of them were standing or lying in their own excrement. There was no food or water within reach, and one of the dogs’ fur was so matted that it couldn’t walk.

Many of the dogs’ paws were burned by the ammonia in their urine, which covered the ground.

The dogs were taken to the Pearl River County SPCA.

Hackney ran a dog breeding business called Bleu Moon Cattle Dogs, and the website alleges that “Our dogs are housed in a climate controlled ‘doggy room.’ They are only put up at night, in bad weather or on very hot days. Our dogs are not housed on concrete in tiny pens or kept in cages all day. They are allowed to be dogs. They have the run of 15 securely fenced acres.”

The website also alleges that Hackney had reported another cattle dog breeder for “unethical breeding practices.”

State law only allows people charged with animal cruelty to be charged per instance, no matter how many animals are involved. Hackney and Allen’s charges include the instance in question and one previous. There could eventually be more for violation of city ordinances.

Bleu Moon’s Facebook page claims it is the “Home of beautiful, healthy and happy cattle dogs. Our dogs are our kids and are spoiled rotten. When you get a Bleu Moon Puppy, it will come pre-spoiled.”

But the Item reports that the dogs were living in a shed with no ventilation or air conditioning and temperatures above 100 degrees.

Volunteer Lauren Fitts said Australian Cattle Dogs are working dogs, and shouldn’t be cooped up for long.

“They need activity and stimulation,” she said.

Fitts said right now animal rescuers are looking for temporary homes for the dogs during the 14 day window between now and the hearing which will decide if the dogs can go to permanent rescue.

Some of the dogs are from other breeders who may want them back, Fitts said. The Pearl River County SPCA has also been fielding calls from people who are looking for specific dogs they believe could be among those confiscated from Hackney.

Animal rights advocates are once again asking Mississippi to look at their animal cruelty laws to impose harsher penalties on people who abuse and neglect animals.

This person claims to work for law enforcement yet on four separate ocassions she has stolen copyrighted work off my website to promte her dogs.

You would think a person who is in Law enforcement and goverment cleard would know NOT TO commit a Federal Crime.

As for law enforcement. My brother is a State Trooper for MS and works in the Cyber segment and he ran her name and birth date and there is NO one in law enforcement by that name.

I might add once more: Why does she NEVER give explanations and why does she not ever prove me wrong? Prove it. Post your AKC papers, Post your show dog wins, post your contract, health guarantee. post your IDs that show you are law enforcement and government cleared. it's public knowledge so why hide it? Post your real name, post your orthopedic husbands name and your pilot's name, post your house and kennels? WHY NOT>?

She stated I was 450 pounds and wanted to know why I never post photos of myself.

2. Whether a person is 450 or 150 makes no bearing on who they are. I know many large people who are nice and many who are crooks (Like Ms. Sholl) and I know many thin people who are scam artist and some are nice.

When this news was given to my attorney, he called the FBI who then had her fired from her job.

Lets see. About 3 weeks ago, she was so rich and married to an orthopedic surgeon and a pilot. Now she is in law enforcement with government clearance? Her lies get better all the time.

No child support enforcement? I'll just post that on here so you can see what a liar she is and how she avoids paying support, yet breeds dogs to make a living.

If she were SO rich, why does she hide out in a dump and live off her dogs and why not have better dogs?

Filed a lawsuit for intimidation against someone and now she claims their insurance madre an offer to settle. WHO has insurance that pays you for harassing someone? I hae that complete file, as it is open for the public. Warren County sent it to my attorney per his request

Stalking her? harassing her? NO. Simply trying to get her to pay me for two dogs she stole. If people can be arrested and have restraining orders on them for trying to collect a bill. then all bill collectors would be in prison. she is BEYOND STUPID.

My attorney contacted the county where she lives, no such restraining order. YOU CANNOT enforce a restraining order if the other party NEVER gets it served to them. If you are in law enforcement you would know that.

Jealous of her? Again, look at her sick puppies and look at mine. She is beside her self with jealousy because one of her customers who bought two puppies from her, got one from me. AFTER both puppies she got from Polly Sholl/Cattle Dogs Rule, died of disease. When asked to reimburse them for money (over 7000 in medical bills) AGAIN MS. Sholls, screamed HARASSMENT and blocked their numbers and emails and refused to talk to anyone. She is so jealous of the beautiful healthy puppy that is now in the home of one of her former customers and they see her for what she is, she cannot stand it.

She also posted photos on FB of her win in RENO NV last weekend. HA HA. I was already informed that she approached a friend of mine and she had NO dogs entered in the show. READ it yourself on Onofrio or Info Dog. no entry by Polly sholl and the show pic she posted is from 2011 in a bldg in Indiana.

This woman is a sick, sick sick bi-polar, psycho, crazy, multi personality dim wit who lies so much that she has crossed the line from fantasy to fiction and no longer knows what world she lives in.

Back to the stolen dogs. She claimed that the dogs ran off and/or got killed. So I reported them as deceased to AKC. She then told Kenneth Scott that she got the papers to those dogs and all was good. Again LIES. I have the papers and I reported the dogs dead as of 2012.

I am a law enforcement officer. I have never hidden from anyone, I have government clearance and will be happy to have you come to my home to prove it. If even a part of what she says is true would I be here writing this??? ,. I don't  think so.

I am jealous of the competition? What competiton? She sells puppies with no papers. Claims the parents are AKC show dogs. But tells you puppies are not registered. Why? The whole purpose of showing dogs and building your lines is to raise puppies for the betterment of the breed and to sell show hopefuls to build your name and your kennel.

This person NEVER paid for two dogs. She purchased one dog from me back in 2010 and made it seem she wanted to do it right. Then she came back in 2011 to purchase a b***h and a dog. I had trusted this person and we worked out an agreement for her to pay me 500.00 and the remainder within 3 months. In the meantime the tornados hit KS and as a friend I was concerned about her. I sent a deputy out to do a welfare check on her and he informed me she was gone. No dog, no polly. I then sent a certified letter, it went unclaimed.

I later tracked her to IN. when she had a photo of herself posted on PuppyFind and I immediatlely knew who she was. Going under the name of Joey's Heelers and Puppy Dog Camp she was selling puppies. I confronted her by email, which I still have and she admits in the email that she owes me. She then left a phone message, that she owes me. I also have this.

This person never paid me for the dogs, so why would I give her any papers? any test results? anything? When she pays me then she can have her test results and her papers,. until then the dogs are still legally mine.

ALL my dogs are tested for Hips, hearing and PRA status. I have all my results in their folders and anyone who I sell a puppy to I will give them the copies. If you don't pay, you don't get papers.

As for my dogs have HOD. In essence she is saying that these dogs who came from lines and from breeders who have bred for years are selling sick junk dogs. The b***h she stole from me was from a dam and a sire that came to me from HireHand and DuWest kennels. The dam to this b***h she stole came from a Vet in NE. the Sire, is my champion stud Bill who came from HireHand and this lady has been breeding for 30 years. The dog she stole from me came from lines and breeding that are well known. The sire to the dog she stole came from Reddenblue lines out of Canada, winners of Westminster, the sire's sire won Westminister also. The sire to the dog she stole came from a Vet in GA. The dam to the dog she stole came from HiredHand and Drywood both long time breeders.

The one dog she bought from me, came from Kilo my stud who is now 10 and he has produced the #1 ACD in rally, the #2 dog in rally in the country, The 2011 Face of Eukanba, he has produced many search and rescue, herding titled dogs and NO ONE has ever come back to me with a sick puppy who can't walk and has bone disease.

In face NO ONE has come to me with any problems that her dogs have. No bad bites, no undescended testicles, no HOD, No menigitis, no puppies are severly underweight and loaded with worms.

As for Facebook, this woman trolls my page under fake names because she is blocked from my page. She is obcessed with what I do and SO jealous of the beauty of my dogs, the 1000's of LIKES I get the request for my puppies and the comments it eats her alive. She is so obcessed she steals my photos to promote her dogs because her dogs can't compete with mine. PuppyFind, kicked her off and has NEVER contacted me to tell me to leave her alone.

AKC does not get into contractural matters. AKC has awarded me a Breeder of Merit. AKC does not investigate anyone without a $500.00 good faith money up front. Where is she going to get money like that? AKC does not have time to run around and investigate every person who has a beef with someone. So if you want to put your money where your mouth is, they want $500 up front. I KNOW, I had to put up the money to get someone investigated and I proved I was right and got my money back

AKC has never investigated me. If they did I would not be able to enter dog shows or to register litters while an investigation is ongoing. I just registered a litter last week. I just entered a show yesterday.

Where are all her show dogs? Why won't she give papers to anyone? Why doesn't she ever want to show her AKC papers or her test results to anyone? Why does she not post her wins and her show photos on her site? Why do we never see the dogs in nice photos and in show wins? Where are her champions?

My dogs are VERY well cared for. They do not live in cages, they live in an indoor room specially made for them. They have acres to run on and play with grass, not dirt and rocks like her dogs. Have you ever looked at her photos? Rakes, mud, dirt, rocks, sharp disk, pitch forks, ropes, chains, and if you look closely, you will see a crate in a dark shed covered with a tarp. What she says about others is actually about her.

This person lies so much and I have tons and tons of paperwork, documents, and photos on her. If she has  a restraininbg order on me, why have i not received a copy? A restraining order cannot be in force if the person does not have a copy and put on warning?  The day I believe she has an attorney is the day I believe she really shows dogs and WINS and does testing on her dogs. She has NO MONEY, she lives off her dogs, she has no attorney. I have an attorney and he checked with Lassen County and there is NO record of a Restraining order. MORE LIES.

Why do people have to meet you? why is no one allowed at your place with your puppy mill in full swing? Boxers, Border Colliers, Cattle dogs and now mutts.....heelers x border collies. Why did you get run off from the PO? why use your mother's name to get a job? Why don't you pay your child support?

She lies about her dogs, does not provide proof of what she sells - the dogs I purchased she stated where pra A yet will not provide proof of this, and they have genetic defects, AKC ethics  is currently investigating.

I purchased dogs from her and paid cash, she then handed me signed contracts and the dogs. Later she demanded more money.  Her dogs have H.O.D.  and bleu moon did not disclose this to me at the time.
