Century Bank of the Ozarks 9 NSF Fees? Some for $2.00 Gainesville Missouri

We have been customers of this bank for years. Months ago my husband was in a car accident in which we incurred out of pocket medical bills as well as out of pocket costs in vehicle replacement. Most devastating was the loss of work. We had hoped to be able to bridge the gap until the lost wages were reimbursed, but eventually ran out if credit. On top of this, I needed to travel to be with my mother who has had surgery for stage 4 cancer. This travel placed us further behind. I begin my seasonal job in 2 weeks, and we almost made it! But finally the money and credit ran out. I quickly withdrew funds from my 401k to tide us over, but not before 9 NSF charges appeared in our account in one day. Most of these were for minor purchases made a week ago. I spoke with 2 different staff members, who kindly brought our situation to the attention of a senior level staff member. We were denied any reimbursement. The $4,000 check was in the bank on the very same day these charges came out. Im sorry, but I don't see how these charges are a $270 "cost" to the bank. This is a small community bank that claims to be community minded. I'm very disappointed.
