We are paying 10,000 for a 300 dollar car.I as a wife tried to say NO for an hour but they then ignored me and talked my hubby into it. We are now stuck with this car and paying 300 a month for a lemon that is rotten. We have little less then 9,000 left on this car payment and the sad thing is the car won't last till the end on our last payment. I agree Stay away from the Franklin's they are trouble!!!!!

Well, I was not an actual employee for Pete Franklin's national auto sales but my mother's boyfried worked there along with two of his friends for a while. I actually went in to fill in for the receptionist a couple of times and I completely understand what the previous threader meant about the screaming. Their dad did the same thing.

I am sure he raised them to be just like him. As they say, "The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

I would make sure that you file a complaint with the state attorney general. As I understand it they are actually under investigation and possibly at this point even being sued by the attorney general for the state.

All buyers beware anyone selling cars with the last name Franklin. Their daddy taught them how to be crooks just like him.

I left my wonderful job to work as a receptionist at Chad Franklins National Auto Sales in North Kansas City. I did a great job and got a lot of things organized. But I kept getting calls from irate customers wanting to speak to Chad or the GM, Ben. They would NEVER talk to them. So I decided to take the matters into my own hands. I guess Chad Franklin had a deal that they would pay the sales tax. Well, A lot of people were not receiving them. So I called the accounting office everyday for almost 3 weeks hasseling them for a womans check. They cut her on and not even a week later I was let go. I know it was because I did that. I was pulled into the GMs office one morning and was told I was TOO over qualified to have such a simple position and that they had a spot waiting for me at their call center in Kansas. Well, I drove all the way out to Kansas and was told there was NEVER a spot for me. So I, being a single mom and going to school, was out of a job.

My first week there, Chad called and asked to speak to Ben. When Ben didnt answer the phone, it rang back to me. Chad started yelling and cussing me out. I cried my eyes out. He was horrible. "Why the F*** did you put me on hold? Do you know who the F*** I am. Are you F****** Stupid?"

Then another incident. I worked 40 hours a week. It turned out that the receptionist at the Kansas Location couldnt work one Saturday, so I offered to drive all the way out there after getting a sitter. I work all day. And he REFUSED to pay me overtime. He payed me regular pay.

Chad and his family are completely dishonest HORRIBLE people and Im glad to see him sink!!!
