I used this company to move my household items from storage to my new home.

We left the storage at the same time. It took them an hour longer to get to my house than I did. (Which I had to pay for that extra hour).

After they finally got to my house and unloaded everything in my garage, I paid them, (not happy about the extra time I had to pay for).

A few days went by and I finally got everything unpacked and found out some things were missing.
I called them several times and left messages with no response.

When I finally did reach Vicki by phone, she said she would look into it. She never got back to me. So about a week or so later, I called her again and she got very defensive and said "Why would they steal that stuff?" I told her I wasn't accusing anyone, maybe it got misplaced, maybe at the next persons house they moved. She said she would check. Finally she called back and said no that didn't happen either.

So when I made up a list of everything that was missing and tried to send it to them certified mail they refused to get the letter.

So I contacted the BBB and they came back after investigating it, that they would not responde to them either, and that was alll they could do.
So I faxed them a final letter that if I did not get reimbursed for my items I would have to take them to small claims court.

Still, no response.
So my daughter told me about you guys and I thought I would give it a shot.

good luck with this bunch. i have delt with them before and they are terrible. they just dont care, they lose things, break things, they are slow, and when you try to get reimbursement...forget it!
You did the best thing by posting here but i still think they will ignore you. if they dont respond take them to small claims court.
good luck! let us know how it turned out.these guys (chandler handlers)shouldnt even be in business
