Charlie Murphy DBA Toxic Solutions, LLc. advertised a business opportunity involving clean up of storage ponds using a special type of pump and filter which he was offering to produce and sell to individuals to allow for the neccesary water quality remediation of retention ponds across the US. Charlie offered exclusive areas for each person who agreed to purchase one of his pieces of equiptment as well as assistance in acquiring contracts with such major companies like Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Publix, Kroger and others.
Following numerous phone calls and a personal meeting in North Carolina with Charlie I agreed to purchase one of his specialized trailer set ups with the necessary specialized pump and filter system he specified etc and he agreed to allow me to have the territory of the State of Georgia as an exclusive operator. I gave Charlie a deposit totaling $2775.00 as down payment on the specialized trailer on January 20th, 2016. Additionally we drew upa " Letter of Agreement " and both signed and exchanged copies etc.
Per Charlie's original promise, and stipulated in the " Letter of Agreement ", he was to assemble and deliver the specialized trailer to me in Georgia within 60 days of signing the documents.
As of March 21st, Charlie Murphy had not delivered the specialized trailer as promised and I contacted him and he agreed to cancel the purchase agreement and refund my depoisit.
As of this writing, April 28th, 2016 I have yet to receive my deposit refund although I have spoken to Charlie Murphy numerous times and he has assured me each time he was instructing his accountant to return my deposit. Additionally, I sent both Charlie Murphy as well as Sarah Murphy ( his registered agent ) a demand letter to be absolutely certain there was no confusion that I wanter my money refunded as Charlie murphy or Toxic Solutions ( his company ) had not lived up to their end of the " Letter of Agreement ".
Based on Charlie Murphy's actions as well as that of his company, I can only surmise that I have been the victim of a SCAM.
I would not recommend any dealings with this person as he does not live up to his agreements !!!!!

Just a quick update on the ongoing sage of the victime of Charlie Murphy.
On June 22nd I appeared in small claims court in Wake County North Carolina as I had filed a suit against Charlie Murphy and Toxic Solutions Llc for not returning my equipment deposit as discussed in the original report.
As expected, mr Murphy did not bother to show up to respond to the suit and I was awarded a judgement against him and his company for the full amount of the deposit as well as court costs. I will be following up with the Wake County Sheriffs dept to attempt to collect my judgement as soon as the required time has passed ( aprox July 15th ). Whether I actually am able to collect my judgement is the next question.
In the meantime while awaiting my court date, I have been contacted by two other victims of Mr Murphy's scam. One has lost his deposit and Charlie refuses to return it as in my case and the other gentleman was about to send in his deposit when we spoke and after our discussion he decided to save his money. Interestingly enough, when he contacted Mr Murphy to make him aware he was not going to send any money mr Murphy became somewhat incensed and called him assorted names and told him that I was a lunatic and out to get him. ( Sadly this is not the truth, all I want is my deposit back as he did not live up to our agreement but apparently this make him a lunatic in his mind. )
All for now, but I will update this complaint as soon as I attempt to actually collect the judgement.
