Chase Bank Chase Credit Cards Services Chase increase interest rates and charge finance charges on accounts that have been paid off ripoff Wilmington Delaware

I never applied for a chase credit card. When I first had this card it was a Wachovia credit card with excellent customer service that will always work very hard to make its customers happy with very low interest rates. Then my account was transferred to Bank One. My experience with Bank One was also a good one. I experienced nothing but great customer service low interest rates. I liked this card so much, I always used this card.

Then what happens Chase takes over the account. Now the card I always enjoyed using has been my worst nightmare. My APR which was a 3.99% went up and up and up. to a 29.99%. I have never made a late payment. always pay more than my minimum. I called to find out why it was so high their reason was that it was adjustible. I asked if they can lower my APR since I have great history with the card they refused. Yet, I never signed a contract with chase. Just because Chase took over the account I was now being ripped off everyday this account. So what did I do. I paid off the account not to deal with their rude customer service.

Then to my surprise what happens next they charge financed charges to my account which was paid off. I called to ask why I was being being charged finance charges? They said that I was for the time the bank carried the balance. She also stated that all this is in my statement yet I dont receive statements cause I pay my account online.

Conclusion: Consumers beware! To anyone thinking of opening an account with Chase don't. It will honestly bee the worst mistake you will ever make! Look at me I never opened an account with them and they still ripped me off for hundreds of my hard earned money.
