I ordered the $9.95 sample. Well the next day the $178 and the $9.95 came out of my account, which caused a huse issue. I got a number from my bank and called. I was told that within 72 hours my money would be back and that if the tea arrived to just refuse it. I got no tea and no refund. I called in 72 hours and spoke with the same woman who told me that the credit was at their bank and processed. I contacted my bank which said they could do nothing. I then went to the police department and spoke with an officer who then called and only got a message machine and he left a message, which is what happened when we called my cell phone as well. Neither of us got a call back.
I then got the address listed in tiny print on their web page and calle the police departement there. I explained what the issue is and I got an officer to go to the address. The officer called me back and told me that the building is locked and he did not see where that company was advertised there yet that does not mean that they were definately not in that building. So back to square one, but I went back to my bank and spoke to management. Behold they could help me so they filed a report and withing 30 days I had my money back even though they had never actually refuneded it. I filed a complaint with my state attorney general thru the FBI fraud division.
I did get 2 calls from a collection agency stating that I owed for the tea (I had never recieved and I had already paid for it). I told them that I needed a bill by mail (must get by the federal trade commission law) and contact information for the company that is charging me (also by federal trade commission law must be provided). I was told that they did not and would not provide that information, I then told the company that I would go to the BBB, and that I had gone to the state attorney general, and the federal trade commission to have this resolved if I had to. I have yet to hear from them again although I figure it is comming.
