Your whole story seems very scattered and just a bit irrational. Its not very mature to write negative things because you probably weren't productive. Blaming others isnt the smart approach.

Why did you continue to work for them if you thought they were unethical ? Did it take you more than 1 hour to realize its not the right firm for you if that were the case ? Or did it hit you hard when you didn't make any money ? Is that when you started ranting and raving on the internet ? Its sad how people just take out their frustrations blaming others. If it were how you described it to be, you are just as guilty working there.

The only problem I find is that Israel gives anyone a chance to fulfill their dreams. That is why I think one of his offices closed down. They just didnt produce enough to keep the firm running. Running 4 offices is a challenge with managers that need constant supervision. Thats when some issues occurred and frustration. But, now his other offices are stronger than ever. I think he is a great guy. He is very respectful to all of his agents and employees.I

I have to say that "the receptionist" is pretty dead on... I don't know about the sexual advances, but i can attest that citi-spaces is a scam - a chop shop, joke of a realty company. They bounce commission checks, steal money, do the typical bait and switch because they have no real exclusives. They get brand new agents fresh out of school (70 hours of training) and teach their agents how to deceive, cheat and steal. Horowitz's agents are the most unprofessional, ignorant realtors. They have the worst reputation. They show up with no knowledge or sense of professionalism.They advertise open listings under no fee on craigslist and then try and charge a fee. It's a joke.

Israel horowitz takes cash deposits and doesn't report them in the final commissions. Your "$500 cash deposit" goes right into his pocket, unreported to the IRS. So when they see what checks come in the IRS only sees the balance the certified commission check minus $500 less than what he's actually reporting!
For instance, if you got a $3000 1 Bedroom, and the commission was 1 month. the customer would give him $500 to hold the apartment. Then when the deal goes through, the agent would get a commission check for $1500 taxable 50%, and he would only show $1000...as the other $500 (cash) would disappear! That's just one example of the many ways he cheats the IRS

PEOPLE your $75 credit check really only costs $15 dollars.

Israel is your typical Israeli scum and his business is like a boiler room. He has chickens for agents running around the city making NO MONEY at no cost to him! That's why i left,that's why his second avenue office closed - i just got fed up. His business is unethical and unprofessional. His company is a revolving door. Everyone eventually figures this out and leaves. About 20% of his agents are not even licensed, when i asked them, "why dont' you just get your license" they said, well I passed the test, but we're afraid to give their license to citi-spaces because he there were so many law suits pending. That means his agents are doing illegal business! If the IRS was too look into his books it would be clear that he can't track all the money and verify that his agents were licensed. Trust this. don't deal with them. its a switch and bait, where nothing is what it appears to be. Check out their craigslist ad, get addresses before you meet them, don't sign anything from them, do your due diligence. Otherwise, beware. Citi-Spaces is a fraud.

Citi-Spaces is a reputable real estate brokerage firm in New York City and all the allegations mentioned in this report are false. The person who wrote this complaint, a former receptionist, was recently terminated due to poor performance and failure to execute her duties. For these reasons, she is defaming my company.

Citi-Spaces does NOT have any pending lawsuits in any of the subjects mentioned and it is NOT involved in any illegal practices. We have never been investigated by INS or FBI - this information can be easily verified.

Any allegation about mistreatment of employees is completely incorrect. Citi-Spaces takes great pride in all its employees and they are treated fairly and with outmost respect. Feel free to stop in any of our store front boutiques in Manhattan and talk to our employees directly.
