CitySearch.com, CitySearch account rep. misleads small businesses Deceptive practices West Hollywood California

I was a customer of citysearch for a long period of time with a small budget. Then, a sales woman named McCall Bennett called me to increase the budget with the promises I would have her as my account manager and assit me with growing my business into what she promised would be so busy that I would be like major salons and she gave me examples of businesses that have doubled following her advise and guidance.She told me I wouldn't be able to have any of these services unless I was at the $150.00 budget or up. So, I raised it and followed what she told me.

But, that didn't bring more in...nothing like she told me it would. Then, I was told if I dropped it down to what it use to be I would have t pay around $2.50 to $2.75 a click when I was previously paying $1.00 per click before I follow her she became my account manager. There for forcing me into high expsense that didn't pay off and do what they promised...In fact, my sales were exactly the same as before raising my budget..

So, I left it and asked what could be done to bring in enough to at lease paid for these fees. Which, were not bringing me in anywhere near what she promised. So, she told me she would send me a back door link that anyone that came to my website could click on and be taken straight my reviews to help me bring in more clients. This was suppose to be a free link, just something for paying the added cost for a account manager. So, I paid a web person to put the link on my homepage.

The following month I checked and my account went dry within 10 days or shorter...I asked why and no real answer and then it dawned on me to ask about the link...I found out I was being charged..I got McCall on the phone she said "Oh, I am sorry I didn't know, your clicks are running out at the same pace"...Every bit of this is a lie.... At that time she told that she is a Account sales representive and needed to go thru customer service for any more needed help.

I spoke to the web master he told me sure it was charging me and had to pay him to remove it. I didn't think to ask before hand when I was told it wasn't billing me. I have learned to trust nothing citysearch sales people tell you.

Then, to put the lcing on the cake. They bill my creditcard and send me collection notices and collection calls ....over and over...with adding fees to the credit card....My opinion Major Rip off and a terrible business
