You have applied to CSN nursing school and been admited.
You must occur the following costs which total $3924
To pay for some of this you receive $1,209 in grants.

You have attended classes one week past tuition refund date when the Clinical Class teacher announcesthat a Dosage Calculation test will be given. If you miss more than one questio you will be expelled from the nursing program immediately.
That means all classes.

Dosage Calculations were not a prerequisite for entry to the nursing program.
No classes were offered in Dosage Calculations.
The teacher of the Clinical did not give the class any instruction in dosage calculations.

You can not get a tuition refund nor can you sell your books as they are part of a custom package registered only to you and each new student can purchase only the packet registered to that student

One top of that you are required to pay back the Grant.

Remind you of Phoenix Collage? (Expection of student failure to complete)
Phoenix recruited the homeless people
Phoenix obtained student loans for these homeless people
As Phoenix expected the homeless never made it past a few weeks before they left.
Yet the homeless now owed the money which now enriched the The University of Phoenix.

Legal Action
On top of the decline in student population,
Apollo Inc(Phoenix) has been fighting a class action lawsuit in federal court with over $2.5 million in legal fees.

Looking for others who were treated this way.
Looking for lawyers who are willing to join in on a class action.
You think it can't happen. Good, just go to the CSN and enroll to
see what happens.

Wasting your time

AUTHOR: Drunk N. Pastor - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, March 08, 2012

Obviously, there were a lot of other students who had no problem with the drug calculation testing.

The school continues to exist, and there are just not a lot of other students who are complaining about your particular situation.

You just didn't have the ability to proceed with the classes.

You have compared yourself to a class of "homeless" people in another college.

You are implying that the homeless don't have the ability to do basic math either, which does not help your case here, and is completely different.

In other words....the other students obviously passed the basic math skills/drug calculation tests and continued on their way.

At what point does a college owe a refund to a student who can't pass?

That's not the way life works.

Also  sorry I distracted you from the issue at hand with a misspelling. yes it's college.

Also I was admitted to the CSN nursing program long ago(years).

My post may well be followed by anther complaint against" United Health Care"
CSN acts as liaison between the students and UHC as sole provider of  insurance
to the nursing students.

First, I think people who cannot spell the simple word "college" should not be allowed to attend one.   If it's collage that you seek, I highly recommend art school.

Second, Phoenix College is one of the oldest community colleges in the United States and has an excellent reputation as the flagship school of the Maricopa Community College system.   They are not, nor are they associated with the "University of Phoenix", which is a for-profit online school.   While I am not surprised that you cannot grasp the difference.  Hopefully anyone one who reads this rebuttal will be able to figure it out.
