College Funding Center ripoff dishonest fraudulent Plano Texas

I had received a post card in the mail today telling me that with deep regret and sadness, we must inform you that College Funding Center (and its parent company, The College Advantage, inc) has been forced out of business after nineteen yerars. We are extremely disappointed that circumstances beyond our control have forced us to close our doors and that we will not be able to service your account further. At this point, you must take upon yourself all activities that College Funding Center was pursuing on your behalf. This letter terminates all College Funding Center Communications---both from and to the company.

This is after I paid $1,144.00 in September of 2003 and have not received anything but one piece of paper that I needed to complete fax back to the company. They did not provide me one bit of service. I am very sadden that a company with 19 years of experience could not even have the common courtesy to advised me that I would be getting a refund, besides sending me a post card in the mail. Not one mention about refunding my money.
