Colon Smart Charged Debit Card unauthorized amount for full subscription before trial period ended. Davie Florida

I was receiving emails, of which I did not respond, about this supposedly amazing colon cleanser product that would help me shed a few unwanted pounds. Then, on June 4, 2008 (06/04/08) I received a call from Colon Smart at which time the representative explained to me in detail about the product.

The representative explained that I would be given fourteen (14) days to try the product for free and after the fourteen (14) day trial period I would be billed forty-eight and ninety-eight cents/dollars ($48.98) for the first months subscription and the same amount every month following until I decided to cancel: The representative also explained to me that the free trial portion of the product would ship within twenty-four (24) hours; I then authorized the $3.95 shipping fee to be debited from my bank account, of which was debited on June 6, 2008 (06/06/08).

Nearly twelve (12) days passed before I received the trial portion on June 17, 08 (06/17/08) of which I was supposed to be allowed fourteen (14) days to try prior to being charged further product costs or member fees: On June 21, 08 (06/21/08) my account was debited $89.31 and $2.68 for charges from Colon Smart. I contacted Colon Smart on June 23, 08 (06/23/08), and at that time was given the opportunity to receive a free bottle of 30 pills (one month's subscription), however I had not received the first of the regular subscriptions of which apparently I had already been charged nor was I given the opportunity to take advantage of the trial period before the charges and to top that off; I was charged nearly double the initial $48.98 I was told I would be charged after the trial. I cancelled the subscription and was told that I would not receive any more charges or packages from Colon Smart on June 23, 2008 (06/23/08).

I contacted the bank and disputed the charges on June 27, 08 (06/27/08), guess what, I received the first 30 pills the same evening when I checked the mail. I will be returning the package unopened to sender first thing Monday morning!
