Comcast seems to raise bills withot notification.  1 monthly billing cycle before my bill jumped up 40 dollars, they started to email my bills to my comcast email.  Have had paper mailings for 30 years.  When called they claimed someone had gone on the website and changed to mailing preference.  Ya, THEY DID !   Didn't realize it until I got my credit card statement, then found out what had happened.

Said I would appreciate a direct contact or explicity letter that my bill was going up 40 dollars a month.  Before this incident they unbundeled The Movie Channel and charged 10 bucks a month extra for that.  Never contacted me, that I know of, then charged me 2.99 to take it off the bill !

Originally they gave you two free boxes for digital TV, said they were upgrading for our custoemrs, everyone would get 2 free with their service, could not use stand alone jacks on the wall anymore to get basic cable.

After a year or so started getting charged 1.99 per box.  Called and was told, Oh, that was for a limited time.

Started charging more for equipment, when at the same time a spokesman was on a TV business show stating how much profit they were making as their cost of technology was coming down, including the boxes and hardware...

There has been a long string of these little bill adjustments along the way.

This may not be criminal but it is not how you treat long term customers.
