Community Hospital Of New Port Richey very poor medical service and incompanent staff -did not file charity request New Port Richey Florida

in october of 2008 I entered community hospital at approxmately 3am with an intestional blockage. the person who registered me just stood there and watched me stumble into the emergency room like a drunk who had been on a bing for a week. They did not have enough sense to phone for help. they were more interested in name address and insurance than anything else. I was admitted and they were FULLY AWARE that I did not have medical insurance. This was caused by preexisting medical conditions. In addition to this the majority of the staff stumbled around as if the were biginners.

I was told that the hospital would send some one to take down information and try to get me some medical assistance. the person came took the information. a day or two later the same person came back reviewed the information . At that time I pointed out several errors and requested that the errors be corrected. never saw or heard from her again. I recieved a billing from them called their billing office and told them what had happened. I was told that someone would contact me BUT NO ONE EVER DID. I am now in a battle with them over their bill. The funny pat is that I had to reenter another hospital several days after being discharged from community hospital - with the same exact medical problem- and received medical assistance because the second hospitals staff was compadent.

Stay away from this dump of a hospital and I have yet to hear any good things about community hospital.
