Watch out for CompUSA, they have a scam that when you return an open box item you have to pay 15% to return it. Here is the scam, you have to pay even if the item is defective. Why should anyone have to pay to return an item that does not work?

Restocking fee NOT a scam

I have been employed by CompUSA for some time now. I believe your impression of our return policy is flawed. There is a 15% restocking fee on open-box merchandise that is NOT defective. If your item is defective, you may exchange the item for a similar one or for store credit. The reason for this is that sometimes customers will purchase an item with the intent of using it once or twice, then will return it when they are done. The restocking fee is to protect the store. All policies are outlined on the reverse of your receipt.
