*UPDATE Employee: ConnectMyDNA
This is a total scam. Like the writer above, I've done enough genealogy research on my lineage to know my ancestry, and it's English and German.
According to www.connectmyDNA.com, I'm 100 % CUBAN! Apparently all my alleles are Cuban. This is so far off the mark that I think they made it up.
Avoid this website, even at $29 on Living Social, it was a colossal mistake. They have no address, no email address, no fax number and NO telephone #.
I'll be contacting my bank about this charge, as connect my DNA did not provide the product that I paid for.

Thank you for your post.
Please keep in mind that ConnectMyDNA is not intended to be used as an ancestry product.
What we show you is that regardless of your ancestry and heritage, as a human species we are all connected in a very unique way.
By using the 13 markers (Loci 13) which is but a tiny fragment of your DNA genome, we can compare these markers to other population groups around the world using a very specific and scientific genetics population formula (Hardy Weinberg Equation) to calculate how often your markers appear in these databases (referred to as the frequency of occurrence).
What your results are showing you is that a very small piece of your DNA structure (not all of it, as you state that we show you are 100% Cuban) contains some similarities to these various population groups. Only a tiny fragment of your DNA (13 markers out of millions) have some similarities and this is what the results show.
You can also view a document we posted on our FaceBook page in the NOTES section that provides additional details on how the results are calculated.
Thank You
