ConnectUSA.com tried to deduct $34.90 from my account in December, which created an overdraft charge of $30 because my payroll check had not posted. When I called the telephone number associated with the posting charge from the bank (866-400-0494 or 877-273-2700), I spoke to a live person who told me that I could get reimbursed for the $30, but I would have to write a letter to: Membership Plus 334 Carnelia Street Suite 515 Plattsburgh, NY 12901 . When I asked about a number to call to speak to someone directly at this address, the lady said that the company did not have a number I could call. And, to be reimbursed, I would have to write a letter. I composed a letter and mailed on 12/12/06 and in the letter, I asked for the company to please let me know when they would credit my account. NOTHING. Today, I received an e-mail which said: We are discontinuing the ConnectNow service and you will no longer be billed. We have valued you as a customer. If you have any questions or comments regarding your account with ConnectNow please forward them to:
support@connectnowusa.com. Thank you, ConnectNowUSA.com

I never signed up for this service and I am ticked off. Someone should be able to do something about this. Please help and THANK YOU.

Typo in report incorrectly placing connectusa.com as part of complaint when company is connectnowusa.com

AUTHOR: Connectusa - (Mexico)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 15, 2008

This complaint incorrectly names connectusa.com when it is referring to connectnowusa.com. Connectusa.com sales GPS tracking systems and is no way nor has ever been affiliated with ConnectNowUsa.com and therefore is unintentionally being slandered by this complaint for something it was not involved in. Simply search in Google for connectusa.com and in the first page shows up this complaint, over the actual company ConnectNowUsa.COM. Please correct the typo and change ConnectUsa.com to ConnectNowUsa.com as it is slanderous and unfair to connectusa.com a third party that is not involved whatsoever in the problems of ConnectNOWUsa.com and this persons complaint.
