Conseco - Green Tree No principal all interest for over 9 years St. Paul Minnesota

Financed our home in 1994. The doublewide that we bought cost $64,000. I put $3,000 down and financed $61,000. Nine years and two months later my pay off is around $58,000. This means that I have paid, with payments of 643.00 per month, aproximately $70,000 dollars, of which $3,000 went on my principal.

I was also informed the $117.00 that they added to my $643 month paymnent, for insurance --has to be paid off. It seems that I had a five year contract with their insurance company. They added this to my account when I lost my homeowners insurance, due to a car wreck.

I stuck with this company, because of my car wreck, my credit got behind. I hope that some lawyer will read these complaints and help us to find what kind of loop-holes this company is using if this kind of financing is legal. The lawyer might get lucky if he would just investigate. I know that I would be willing to give to him--Cheaper than paying Conseco!
