Consumer Advisory Board Legal sounding rip-off to good to be true Clearwater Florida

After receiving numerous phone calls, which I have proceeded to hang up on I decided to listen to this one. After the spiel that sounded to good to be true, I went along with their requests and sounded like I would use their service. They assured me that they would really do a great job by getting our interest rates reduced.

We are two octogenerians trying to survive on Social Security and a small pension and keep our bills paid up as best we can. But of couse we do have some credit card balances that we would like to see lower interest rates on.

Three different women talked to me and sounded very professional but as usual there was a nagging doubt in my mind. I did give them a credit card number for American Express after our Mastercard would not accept their charge of $895.00 which they said they would get out of the interest they saved on our credit cards. I have an appointment to talk to a Financial Planner on Friday, Feb. 6,2009 at 3 o'clock Eastern Time which is 2 o'clock our time.. I will at that time tell them I am not interested and please recredit my card and destroy my number. I will also notify American Express and BBB so that I will have all bases covered. Call this a slip of common sense.

Is their anything else that I need to do to help close this deceitful business down?
