Correctional Billing Services ripoff Selma Internet

A representative from Correction Billing Services left a voice mail on my answering machine today stating that because I accept collect calls from a correctional facility, there would be a fee added to my phone bill for each collect call I accept. A toll free phone number was left to contact customer service, if I had questions.
I called the toll free number, was placed on hold ten (10) minutes, and ultimately talked with a customer service representative that advised me each time I accept a collect call from a correctional facility, a $1.95 charge would be added to the bill. The representative stated this new policy took place a month or two ago. I told the Rep. that I had been accepting collect calls from a correctional facility for six years and had never been charged an additional $1.95 per call. I advised him that I wouldn't pay the additional charge and would inform the inmate not to call me collect anymore. The rep. said thank you and hung up.
