He came out to give an estimate to repair the hull of a hovercraft and to paint the hovercraft. I gave him $1700 upfront and would pay the remaining balance of $300 at a later time. In the first month of his possession with the hovercraft, He said his mother died and he was not able to start working on it because he was caught up with funeral bills. I had no contact with him the second month and the expiration date for the contract was at the end of the second month. Also no pictures were sent on the status of the job.

On the first day of the third month, He said he was almost done with it and needed a couple of days. 6 days later he said he repaired the hull but had to redo it. This was a lie as it looked exactly the same when it was picked up. Four days later he said he was putting on the last coat of paint. Several days after that he said he had to sand it down and repaint it. This was also a lie as only 25% of the boat was painted and it was given a really bad paint job. There were no signs that any other part of the hovercraft craft was painted at all as I saw the original sanding. I offered to bring someone in to repair the hull so he could finish painting the the remaining 75% of the hovercraft, he turned the offer down because he said he had his daughter with him. He originally said he could have it done in about two weeks yet after three months it was in worse condition than when he first took possession of it. I had him served with a court date and he said he knew he was going to lose. This later changed that I would need a good lawyer. He was a no-show in court and I made my case. I won without even trying.

My own rationale: The real Cory Armenta left a long time ago and what is left is layers on top of layers of lying. He will harass you by constantly texting - even after you tell him cease any and all contact. I can see by his rebuttal on here that he googles his broken reputation. His face looks destroyed by paranoia from staying up repeated nights. In fact he actually admitted that he was not going to lose anymore sleep over the job. He claimed he had a shop, employees, a daughter, And the death of his mother. In reality, these were all lies so he can live the California life with his new BMW. Tell you neighbors and friends this story and remind them of the days when people had their tongues removed. Cory Stephen Armenta, you will always be son of man. Give yourself everlasting peace.
