COSMETIC LASER CENTER, LLC I paid over $2000 for tattoo removal, the company has shut it doors w/out explanation! No Refund NOTHING!! WHAT A RIP-OFF! Clearwater Florida

First of all... her cell phone number DID change and I also had to find her new phone number by Craigslist via Google. SECOND - THE COMPANY NEVER HAD AN OFFICE PHONE!!! Only HER cell phone was given as the office number. I NEVER ONCE saw a doctor in the office. She is now operating under the business name FLORIDA MEDI-LASER SPA, LLC. Look at the website! (((Redacted))) .... is it just a coincidence that the OLD website was (((Redacted)))? Pretty similar ...and is it ALSO a coincidence that the new web site only gives HER CELL PHONE number and no office number?? Can someone please tell me WHAT kind of Professional OFFICE lets an employee's cell phone number be the primary office number.. not once, but twice?? WHAT a scam!! Here's the kicker. HOW WOULD SHE KNOW WHO was an old patient of the previous office (Cosmetic Laser Center)?? Based on Florida's Privacy act, she would not be able to just tote everyone's medical records with her from place to place if she was let go from the old employer!! COME ON PEOPLE! DO NOT GO TO Florida Medi-laser Spa LLC unless you really want to have 1/2 removed tattoos and a big hole in your wallet.

I'm going to post the complaintants comments then show my response to each one.

First of all I would like to say that I was also removing my tattoos at the Cosmetic Laser Center with Anna and she has been wonderful since day 1.

You state: I called to make my 6 week appointment and the cell phone of the nurse I normally called was disconnected! I was on craigslist and happened to stumble upon her new cell phone.Anna has had the same cell phone number since I started treating with her in 2005, it has never been disconnected and it has never been changed. This is just a complete LIE. And I always appreciated that Anna was kind enough to share her PERSONAL cell phone number with her patients in case they ever needed to get in touch with her after hours.
When I called to make appointment, she indicated the officed. This would be the 3rd move in 3 years! Another complete LIE. This is the first time Anna has ever relocated. The Cosmetic Laser Center never relocated either. You can search through internet yellow pages and look in old yellow page books and see that the address has never changed.
She came out handed me a stack of papers and walked off! Low and behold there was a story about how she moved offices, Cosmetic Laser went out of business, she works for a new doctor now, she didn't get a check, and last but not least, she would be happy to resume my tattoo removals at $175 per visit! That's insane. I need at least another 7-10 treatments!My experience was a little different. When I came in for my first appt at the new office, Anna gave me clipboard with a stack of papers and asked me to read over them, they would explain why she moved. The first page was a letter explaining that the Cosmetic Laser Center went out of business and left not only all of the patient's hanging, but left her hanging too. She was so happy that she was going to be able to coniinue doing everybody's treatment, but because most of the patient's had already paid the Cosmetic Laser Center, it would have been impossible for her to run the office and pay for the equipment and supplies needed without charging anything. My letter stated the charges would vary from 25-100, depending on the size of the tattoo, so I'm not sure if I believe that your letter said your charge would be $175. Lets keep in mind that Anna did not have to continue anybody's treatment. She could have just walked away and changed her number and got a job at the Hospital and then we would all be screwed with NO WHERE else to go, at least NO WHERE that could provide us with the same quality of service with the proper laser to actually do the job.
I think it's a total scam. You have obviously never been scammed before, because this is the farthest thing away from a scam. I believe Anna went above and beyond what most people would have done in her situation. The only person who got scammed was Anna, not only is she out a steady paycheck, but she manged to find a way to not desert her patients and she is treating us at what is probably less then her actual cost and she is doing it with a smile. Even if she would have walked away from the whole tattoo removal business she still would not have been guilty of any kind of scamI think Anna knows exactly what happened.She does know what happened, and she has informed you, me, and I'm sure all of the other patient's. I have already filed w/ the Better Business Bureau of Clearwater and I will be pursing a small claims case against the infamous : Cosmetic Laser Center, LLC of Clearwater, FL. Anna suggested I do the same. She was merely an employee of that company and should not be blamed for circumstances beyond her control.
