Against my attorney's wishes I am going to write a rebuttal to the libelous anonymous comments that I am allegedly scamming desperate film makers.  All we have in this world is our reputation and I will not have my character blasted by a nameless and faceless troll. 

I have working behind the scenes in the film industry for over nine years through my affiliation with my families company, Mestiere Cinema. For the past two years I have raising capital film production, through my company Dreamcatcher Production.  The film making process is a long drawn out series of events that takes many months. During this time any number of misfortunes can occur that will deter the film making process. 
 
Everyday for the past 18 months I have received many many phone calls and email treatments from potential film makers who want to get their film financed. At NO time during this time have I ever received any upfront fees from the film makers nor have I ever or would I ever have access to a film makers personal or business account.  Think about why would I!! 
 
Unfortunately though when you are processing hundreds of treatments most of them will get rejected or ignored and this leads to jealousy, disgruntlement and paranoid delusions of grander by many film makers who think they are the next Steven Spielberg. Thus any one of hundreds of potential film makers I have rejected could have left these libelous ramblings out of spite and fear.  
 
Anyway I am glad that I am in such good company as other reported "scammers" that people have posted about on Rip-Off Report such as: Bill Gates, Donald Trump, Rupert Murdock and George W. Bush. 
 
If anyone would care to check my film industry references they would see that I have a steller reputation in the industry with such major players as: Sam Gandy,  Guido Cerasuolo, Scott Rosenfelt, Brando Bronzino, David Lonn, David Starr, David Wenzel,Geoff Bodine, Ivan Correa, Kirk Berendes, Matthew Earl Jones, Nik Catello, Roger Piggott, Russell Wolfe, Stan Derain, Steve Little, Susan Touchbourn, Teddy Zee, Tracy McCormick, Rob Walker, David Zucker, Spike Lee, Clint Eastwood.
 
In closing I will take this comment for what it is an anonymous libelous comment against the great Bertolo family name and if and when the anonymous is found they will be dealt with by a jury of their peers.
