These companies, which really are just one group of people, advertises heavily on Craigslist around credit repair, seasoned and primary tradelines purchases, and credit card partners that get quick approvals for the clients, etc. Once they got my email address I began receiving advertisements more frequently. The ads were enticing with promises of fast delivery on the service/orders I placed.
Between September and October I place more than 10 orders. I primarily dealt with a person identifying himself as Ronald Atiba. This is the same name that is held by California Secretary of State for the corporation, HIGHLANDER, INC. (Entity No: C3817193) located at 8250 White Oak Ave. #105, Rancho Cucamonga 91730. Highlander, Inc owns the Chase bank account #: (((REDACTED))) that received all of my deposits.
I placed one order initially. It was to be fulfilled in 3 weeks. After a couple weeks I placed several more orders. Once the time period expired on the first order to be completed I was told by Ron to pull the credit report. The client was never able to get the report because something was wrong with the information provided by CPN EXPERTS. After more than a week of trying to get in touch with Ron he said they would redo the order and not to worry. The scam was we weren't ever going to be able to satisfy any inquiry to get the credit report because the flaw was put in place on purpose to keep us from getting the report, indirectly blame me for not being able to provide the credit report to prove CPN EXPERTS had not fulfilled the order.
A week before the remaing orders were due Ron sent me a email stating he was no longer working for CPN EXPERTS. I tried to learn who would be handling my clients' files. I finally got an email naming a non-existing person. I was the told by Ron to talk with JP. JP was very taunting, making ugly remarks as though I was creating the story to steal from him. He and I had numerous conversation in which he blamed Ron for everything. He admitted I had been scammed. He said Ron took all of the money and made like he was upset because of it.
I paid these folks more than $8,000 using my business checks, by direct cash deposits to Chase Bank, and by Chase QuickPay.
