I contacted this marina to haul out my boat. Last minute they asked me for $5k deposit. When I asked what they wanted it for they were not even sure what for. Then they later said in case I decide to not to return to gret my boat or they break it when taking it out of the water. I spoke to my insurance company and they siad if they breeak it then their insurance should pay for it. When I told the marina this they decided they dont want to work with me now.
Turns out I called them on their bluff and I later learned that they steal the deposit and you have no hope of getting it back no matter what.
DONT GET RIPPED OFF!

I know that they ask for a 5,000 deposit if they feel your going to leve your boat and walk away.usally wooden boat's i bet you had a wooden boat that was in pretty bad shape!
