Cricket Communications I never ordered anything from Cricket!!!!---but yet they charged my account. San Diego California
*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Hmm...This sounds like idnetity theft or someone has stolen your credit card information
I have never ordered anything from Cricket and I got charged $20 on one day and then the next day they charged my account $30. I called my credit card company and they said that they would credit my account but they would notify Cricket and see if they could verify the charges. I wanted to block my account from Cricket but the credit card company said they couldn't do that. I'm concerned. I could see one mistake----but two days in a row??

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
Hmm...This sounds like idnetity theft or someone has stolen your credit card information

You said that you never ordered anything from Cricket Communications. Are you saying that you currently do not have any cellular service with them as well? If that is the case, then what has happened here is credit card fraud where someone has stolen/used your credit card information. As long as the credit card is a CREDIT card and not a DEBIT/CREDIT card, your credit card company should rightfully return the fraudulent charges to you without problem.
Why did you say "I could see one mistake, but two days in a row?" This makes me think you assume that companies should be allowed to charge your credit card without your authorization by mistake. Please do NOT think that way!! NO company has the right to charge your credit card without YOUR consent.
What I'm also worried about is that this could be a sign of identity theft as well. You may want to check your credit report...
Was there an account number associated with the charge?
Hope this helps...
