Custom Pool Plastering, Inc Failed re-plaster, won't honor warranty Keller Texas

We paid this company $3400 to re-plaster our pool. Approx. two weeks after the job was finished, the pool developed large (more than half the resurface) areas of dark, grey discoloring. I called the owner, Ted, and he came out and looked. After some discussion, he agreed to re-plaster the pool.

After several weeks of no response, I called and was told by Ted that he would only offer to “acid wash” the plaster in an attempt to remove the discoloration. Ted knows that this discoloration is due to a “hydration problem” or “entrapped moisture” and the only real fix is a complete re-plaster. Acid washing DESTROYS the surface of the plaster and considerably shortens its life span.

I have been very reasonable and patient with Ted, but he refuses to discuss the issue any further.

I am simply asking for the job to be done correctly and not look WORSE than before the resurface.

We are now forced tp pay another company to re do the job correctly and seek renumeration in court.
