Cydcor Multi Level Marketing AKA pyramid scheme Scam, pyramid scheme, Average $2.00 hour for about 11hrs of work Chicago, Illinois

Cydcor affiliates use deceptive job ads stating marketing training when job is actually door-to-door sales. The Cydcor affiliates call themselves "direct sales and marketing firms" but it has been documented by people who worked and interviewed with the affiliates that the primary focus is on door-to-door sales.

Meaning when you do final work its door to door. I did that for 2 months before finally I got promoted. In the end the promotion isn't really a promotion its just a way for them to get you do more responsibilities without having to pay you more. Its your job to find, recruit, and sucker more people to join an organization to "help you" get promoted.

Usually the start of the day you have these meetings for 2 hours with all the employees called "atmosphere" in which you have to practice the pitch and help people perfect a pitch they've probably worked a million times by themselves and outside. its maddening to realize you are doing this for 2 hours and not getting paid a dime for actual work, its a no no to actually walk into the office with a zero. after working a full day you get back for the magical s**t bag ceremony of bells in which you display your "accomplishment" for the day then as a leader you go to closed door meetings and usually go over the teams performance and the the "Juniors" usually its put in such a way that either they are awesome or utter shits that can't do it and they are barreted by the people and upper management who train them.

In the end you don't realize when you take someone out on 2nd and 3rd round interviews that they have to come with you to sell their products using deceptive words and pitch to get "customers" to sign up for their products in 4-6 hours in the bitter cold or horrible Chicago Climates usually they are ill-prepared as you are walking in snow and flooded walkways in dress shoes and heels. As your doing the door to door sales or as they put it, face to face marketing you have to up-sell these products in such a mannor that the people have no idea what they are signing up for. We usually ignore do not enter signs or do not solicit signs in hopes we can sign people up for these truly s**t products. In the end these poor people don't realize that whatever your selling is much more expensive.

After the said training and you are "hired on" which usually takes a week, your training bonus is a itty bitty $150. for 2 weeks work but they of course tax you on your check so about 120.00. and of course it isn't mandatory but you should go to team nights which you must use a bulk of your money and poker nights where most employees have too much fun if you catch my drift. You are not reembursed for travel and another thing as well their is a "15% holdback" on all your checks so literally all the money you made is 15% less than it should. also there will be unexplained "cancellations" on your checks so its even worse than you expect. You begin to realize just how bad it is when your executives live in apartment with 3 others struggling to live on their own.

Another note say bye to your social life as your are cut off 10-11 hours a day Monday - Friday. This job cuts you off emotionally and is frustrating to the point that you dont realize how much you are cut off in this pyramid scheme and if an employee quits essential they are a black eye and are normall never referenced or are ridiculed in private. in the end the professionalism goes with this place. Beware of Cydcor and their little sister companies this "opportunity" is back handed and backwards.
