BUYER BEWARE!!! Don't expect to get what you ordered from dailyzort.com

My first (and only!) experience with DailyZort was an order on June 5th, 2006, for four Streamlight flashlights (or so I thought!). DailyZort used a picture that showed black and yellow flashlights, so I ordered four, and asked for "three black and one yellow, please). Ten days later, I get my order and I receive THREE YELLOW flashlights, and my "invoice" was corrected in handwriting to only have a quantity of three, and a note at the bottom "only have yellow. sorry!" This is ridiculously unprofessional for a "business."

The first issue is that for any of the changes (quanitity OR color), I should have been notified and confirmed whether or not I wanted to go through with the order. I won't make any presumptions about how DailyZort is eager to ship whatever they can and take my money, but the attitude is quite clear.

Secondly, DailyZort still charged me for the shipping charge calculated for four flashlights, which is more than what it would be for three flashlights. Again, their attitude toward my money is clear.

Lastly, I warn any potential customers to be VERY CAUTIOUS because even when contacted politely to ask for the above problems to be addressed (I requested a small refund of my order total, or a shipping label to return my whole order), DAILYZORT CHOSE TO IGNORE ME. My next step if DailyZort still does not communicate with me is to pursue a chargeback through my credit card.

Update: The FTC website has a great page on what constitutes "bait and switch" which is an ILLEGAL SALES TACTIC. DailyZort used this tactic to get rid of yellow flashlights by showing a picture of black flashlights.
