I bought a calling card for $20.00 on 11/21/2002. Since I bought the card, I have been unable to make any phone call. After dialing the 1-800 number and the PIN, the line goes dead. I have reported several time but still I am unable to make phone calls.
The card is produced by www.9278.com. When I call the customer service at 1-800-566-3496, they don't even want to reveal their company name and address. They are refusing to return my money because the service is not available. It looks like a scam to offer cheap calling cards for services that don't exist.
Expose these unscrupulous conmen

I am sorry you have had problems with you calling card, however your information is not accurate:
"Dancris Telecom aka 9278.com "
Dancris Telecom is a carrier on Scottsdale, Arizona.
9278 is a distributor in New York. We do not own nor control the website 9278.com.
We do provide connectivity on some of their products.
The toll free number 800-566-3496 is our customer service department, and they handle only connectivity issues. (Refunds would be handled through 9278 as they are the one you paid)
I do not believe they would not give you our company information, anyone reading your complaint is welcome to call the toll free number and get our company information)
9278 has never had any complaints brought to our attention regarding their inability or refusal to refund product. In contrast, they have a high satisfaction rate amoung the many distributors we work with.
To resolve this situation, if you would be so kind as to email me the pin number you purchased, I will issue a refund to you directly from us, and I will work with 9278 to have them reinburse us.

Dancris Telecom is a carrier for some of 9278 Communications calling cards.
I am sorry you had a bad experience, but we have a 24 hour staff to help resolve them. You may also contact my office and I will switch out their card with one of our cards to help you with your situation.
We also immediatly refund cards from any complaints received in our office or the BBB. We would have the same courtesy with the Rip Off Report staff..
