Yes, It happen to me, I took my vehicle for servicing for the first time over there, total bill was close to 1200.00 dollars wich for labor they quoted 440.00 dollars, I later when to an autopart store to quote those parts that they have changed in my car and surprise ... found out that Dass overcharged me for the parts by twice the amount of what the parts really costs.

by then the car was finish and I made a print out of the part list and prices and confront them, they got stunned by the proof i had shown to them, and try to come clean saying that the parts store clerk made a mistake !

so lady's beware before you take your car there as you dont know too much about mechanics they will make jump off a bridge when you see the bill for your reapairs ...They Really Are making a Killing out there !

After reading this message came to my attention that the consumer was right. I spoke with The owner who claimed to be from Trinidad but you can tel hes not from there he just came over there but but wasn't born there. I did a business background check and found out that he has change the name like 4 time and he is currently going thru a sexual harassment lawsuit. when I was there I talk with his employees and found out he doesn't even pay them minimum wage and nether of them are ASE certified. Mr. Dass is a Crook and a liar and his wife is an even bigger liar this is a company you really should be careful of. Go to sunbiz.org and look up how many times he has changed his name

i have been in the automotive business for several years , and have found that this business is not treated like any other . it seems that the general public
does not think its fair for a mechanic wich we are no longer called to make a dollar.
i am a automotive technician with ase certifications wich most of my colleges of today also are ,with several years of school ,and special schools to understand the new latest and greatest automobile ,coasts for tools and special equipment has driven the coast of repairs up . we make our money purchasing parts whosale and selling for retail for the norm a very small percent of labor is actualy a profit ,but do to the weekend warrior and shade tree mechanic who helped his dad change a starter or set of points we are always second gussed ,and for the part stores that dont sell the same product we supply the costomer, many times they are remanufactured most of us in the trade will not use remanufactured parts unless there is no other choice therefore she was not comparing apples to apples and according to the dept. of aggrictular we must have a verbal authorization for any repair exceding 100.00 usd over the estimate .

when consumers go to dinner they dont complain about the 25.00 steak that you can purchase at publix for 8.00 or having a roof on there house for 10000.00 dollars ,the custom kitchen cabinets, or there attorneys fees , the reason is there neighbor or boy friend cant normaly do any of the above listed things .so for those of you who are unhappy with the price i am sure you were told before hand and if the job was done correct please take a diffrent look at what is realy going on .when the shop cant make there money whos gonna fix it when there closed down? the neighbor who told you that you paid too much ?
