Datesnow Pty Ltd is stealing money from my account. Ripoff! Brisbane, Australia Queensland

A couple of months ago, I noticed that my bank account had been debitted for the amount of $19.98 U.S. by Datesnow Pty Ltd online paymnt.au. I origionally thought that it was a charge for a dating service that I had enrolled in but, had already cancelled my membership to.

After contacting the dating service that I had previously been a member of, to complain about this charge, I learned that my membership had indeed, been cancelled and that the charges on my account were not originating from them. Further investigation revealed that, the charges were coming from Australia where this "Datesnow" company is appearantly based.

I have no idea how they obtained my credit card number as I did not give it to them, and at no time, did I intentionally become a member of their service.(which, if you can believe their web-site, is supposed to be free anyway!) However, they continue to debit my bank account for 20 or 30 U.S. Dollars, a couple of times a month.

I've tried (with great difficulty) to make contact with this company through their web site. I've cancelled my alledged membership twice. I've asked them to "PLEASE" e-mail me and provide the details on how I became a member of this service. I get nothing but more debits on my bank account.

I've started a charge-back process through my Bank and they tell me that it will take at least a month, to six weeks, before it can be determined weather or not, the debits on my account are legitimate. In the mean time, Datesnow continues to steal money from me.

I'm getting very angry at these people. I want my money back!
