 I purchased a Dave Scadden 9 foot Skykomish Sunrise pontoon boat. I went back and forth between an Outcast and the new Dave Scadden Boats. I decided on the Dave Scadden because they had a longer warranty 15 years or lifetime and claimed to support more weight. The first trip was great and the second but the third time I took the boat out the nose had created a leak. I called Dave Scadden Sports and they said to send the boat back. I did and two months later I received my boat with a repaired valve. I filled up the pontoon and it held air in my living room for 3 days so I figured I was good. The next trip I took the boat to Mexico to use it on the Salt. I used it the first day and the second day it began to leak air. By the third day it was not holding air at all and I located the leak in the nose of the boat where two welds were. I tried to fix the boat with glue so I could fish for the remaining days but it would not hold air. Once again I contacted Dave Scadden and he said to send the boat in. He did the cause was probably that the garage that I was storing it in was too hot and melted the seals. I asked for a new pontoon but he assured me that it could be fixed.

I began storing my pontoon in my house to keep it out of the heat of my garage. When I got the pontoon back it looked like someone had smeared glue all over the nose piece and called it good. I planned another trip tested the pontoon in the living room for leaks and went to San Juan, New Mexico. I inflated the pontoon and now the other pontoon was leaking. I couldn't identify where the leak was but I couldn't use the boat. Once again I returned the other pontoon and two months later I got it back. I am currently in Mexico again and pontoonless because the nose piece and glue are not working, this is the third trip this pontoon has ruined for me. I'm not very happy with the repairs ir the boat or the time it takes to return the repairs or the workmanship of the repairs. I usually have to call the shop 5 to 10 times with messages to get a return call. I have no faith in this product. I would like my money returned so I may purchase a different pontoon from a different manufacturer.
